Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct stakeholder meetings to define scope system, requirements and specifications.
* Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex control and communication systems and infrastructure.
* Develop Concept of Operations and Technical Specification documents.
* Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency.
* Create and maintain detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and project status.
* Oversee implementation and integration of data across multiple systems.
* Revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
* Provide technical support and/or QA/QC for the troubleshooting of systems.
* Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Senior Systems Engineer Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), etc.).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering and infrastructure management.
* Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems in an enterprise environment.
* More than 5 Years of experience in Advanced Train Control Systems.
* More than 5 Years of experience in developing Concept of Operations and Technical Specifications document.

In this role, you will develop customer specific verification requirements, including advanced verification component development, methodology support, and operation and maintenance of Cadence's verification tools and services. You will support technical evaluations and benchmark development for Cadence's market leading tools such as Xcelium simulation platform and Verisium platform of AI and ML tools for enhanced verification. You will create and conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers.

PDK enablement task
The PDK enablement team is a part of the Cadence Design IP development group responsible for downloading, formatting, installing, QA and testing, releasing, and maintaining foundry data.
We analyze initial PDKs and following versions to understand the impact of the design PDK, models, DRC, LVS and extraction rules and decks, reliability requirements on design and share this knowledge with the design teams.
Examples of foundry data include physical verification decks, device models, extraction tech files, and Virtuoso PDKs. Those are the fundamental building blocks on which all the design teams rely to build their circuits.
We also create and use existing automation and regression routines to ease the installation and ensure the operation of collateral with various tool versions. The quality, accuracy and reliability of the PDK is critical to the efficiency and quality of the circuit design.
We customize the foundry collateral to improve the design team efficiency and the design quality.
The team interacts with the foundries about the PDK and foundry data, discussing novelties, issues, bugs, etc.
The team also interacts with Cadence R&D teams on tool development, based on PDK learnings.

Lead Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities + Campus Network Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of campus network solutions, leveraging Cisco, HPE, and Aruba platforms to ensure scalability, resilience, and seamless user experience.
+ Wireless Networking: Architect, implement, and manage Aruba Wireless infrastructure, optimizing coverage, capacity, and security for thousands of users across campus facilities.
+ Network Access Control: Deploy and administer ClearPass solutions for secure network access, including device onboarding, authentication, policy enforcement, and guest management.
+ Integration & Interoperability: Ensure seamless integration between Cisco, HPE, and Aruba ecosystems, troubleshooting and optimizing interoperability challenges.
+ Network Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune network performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks, enhancing throughput, and minimizing downtime.
+ Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and standards across wired and wireless networks, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
+ Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in large-scale network projects, setting clear milestones, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely completion.
+ Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, device inventories, configuration standards, and incident reports.
+ End-User Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for network-related issues, collaborating with helpdesk teams, site support teams and end users.
+ Capacity Planning: Analyze current and projected network needs, designing scalable solutions to support organizational growth and evolving technology.
+ High Availability & Business Continuity: Develop and maintain network redundancy, failover mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or certifications are a plus.
+ Experience: Minimum of 15 years' progressive experience in network engineering, with demonstrable expertise in campus network environments.
+ Technical Certifications Preferred:
+ Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or Wireless)
+ HPE ASE/MASE (Aruba Certified)
+ Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) or Professional (ACMP)
+ Aruba Certified ClearPass Expert (ACCX)
+ Other relevant industry certifications are desirable

+ Hands-on experience and advanced troubleshooting skills with:

The annual salary range for California is $136,500 to $253,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. As an Application Engineer you will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with our customers supporting technical campaigns by delivering product demonstrations, knowledge transfer, training, and onsite support. Responsibilities include:
* Working closely with our customers who are in the Advanced Packaging space
* Helping customers to adopt and proliferate our packaging solutions

* Conducting technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations, including development of customized presentations
