Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Program Director and Program Assistant, this role is responsible for delivering supervision, skill development, and personal care support to clients participating in the program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide direct care and supervision to clients, including effective communication. Work with assigned clients by implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs) at the program site, job site, or in the community, following the designated schedule. Facilitate and participate in planned activity programs. Recognize early signs of illness and determine when professional medical assistance is needed. Assist with self-administration of medication or administer prescribed medications as required. Apply knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and client personal rights. Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times. Interact with clients, visitors, and agency representatives in a professional and respectful manner. Respond professionally during inspections conducted by Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) staff. Serve meals, snacks, and beverages within required timeframes to ensure proper hydration and nutrition. Assist clients with mobility, including transferring in and out of wheelchairs and vehicles. Support client participation in activities that may involve standing, bending, stooping, or lifting. Collect and document data related to ISP goals, progress, and changes using the Therap system. Report unusual incidents and fulfill mandated reporting requirements for any observed or suspected abuse or neglect. Attend all scheduled in-service training sessions and maintain consistent, punctual attendance. Keep equipment clean and in good working condition. Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures. Remain aware of each client's location at all times. Provide toileting assistance, including changing protective briefs as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervising staff. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English. Ability to understand and implement Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives and accurately document client progress. Capability to complete mandated reporting forms (e.g., SOC 341) as required. Knowledge of and ability to follow disaster preparedness and mass casualty procedures. Effective communication skills with clients, families, coworkers, supervisors, case managers, and community members. Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and prioritize responsibilities. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
