Responsibilities
* Develop Quality Plan that is relevant and current to the program, conduct proactive periodic review of the Quality plan to ensure program compliance to Quality Plan. Initiate nonconformance and lead corrective actions if gaps identified.
* Participate in all relevant Customer meetings associated with the program, lead any Quality specific meetings with the customer. Establish point of contact for Quality at customer end. Proactively establish communication with the customer and develop a communication plan and appropriate cadence. Have a good understanding of customer challenges and perception to lead Aurora to achieve world class customer experience.
* Review proposal, Manufacturing work plan, FAI, Engineering Change, etc. to ensure compliance to Quality plan. Initiate and complete applicable updates if there are conflicts between the Quality Plan and other program specific documents. Communicate the changes effectively with key stakeholders.
* Collaborate in new product development processes to ensure that quality standards are integrated from the design phase onward.
* Report applicable Quality metrics and trend in program reviews. Establish targets for the metrics and communicate the targets to the program team. Provide additional details as needed including containment actions, recovery plan, corrective action and its effectiveness, and preventive action plan. Keep track of Risk, Issues, Opportunities and Help needed associated with Quality performance of the program.
* Understand process execution for the program to identify key process/functions for successful execution of the program. Set clear program quality expectation on inputs/outputs, metrics, and improvement plan (as applicable) for key function that is aligned with program quality plan. Get buy in from key stakeholders within the program team for the expectation. Resolve conflicts as needed. Participates in various revies to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product and process design.
* Perform contract review and own the update of Quality plan as applicable and accountable other key program documents updates.
* Work with the program manager to establish Program Quality Budget. Ensure, we have staffed appropriately, executing at 100% efficiency and resolve conflicts (with PMO) if there is legitimate work that needs to be performed and not budgeted. Identify single point of failure risk associated with resource and actively work towards establishing applicable countermeasures.
* Ensure KPIs related to MRBs are achieved. Work with functional and program management to develop applicable countermeasures to achieve the established targets.
* Develop and lead program preventative quality plan. Use Lean/Six Sigma/Quality tools to continuously improve process capability.
* Develops quality criteria for supplier source selection.
* Communicate and brief senior management on preparation for third party audits.
* Assists in the development of new standard repairs as applicable for complex nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment.
* Works under minimal direction.
Minimum Requirements
* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
* 5+ years of experience in Quality.
* 3+ years of experience in driving quality improvement for new product development.
* Must be a US Person.
Preferred Requirements
* AS9100 and AS9102 experience (3+ years).
* 8-10+ years of Quality experience.
* Bachelor degree in technical field.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, wear proper PPE, and follow Boeing regulations for lifting.
* Must be able to support occasional travel (up to 10%).

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a Principal or Senior Principal Network and Communications Field Service Engineer to our team at RAAF Base Edinburgh near Adelaide, Australia.
This position will receive daily tasking and prioritization from their site lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for operations and maintenance support of the MQ-4C Triton network and communications systems at a Forward Operating Base (FOB).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide real time support for flight operations and maintenance, addressing any issues related to communications and networking to include fault isolation, remediation, and resolution.
Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications and data link systems in military flight test environment, including operations on a flightline, in a hangar, and in command-and-control centers.
Adherence to checklists and procedures to ensure repeated success and providing redlines to procedures when necessary.
Communicate complex technical issues to local support, the Degrader Action Cell (DAC), Main Operation Bases (MOBs), and Responsible Engineers (REs).
Support and lead air crew engagement for proper techniques in solving complex analysis of technical problems that arise during operations.
Assist with trend analysis as needed for Responsible Engineers (REs).
Perform/support review and analysis of supplier design data and definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration.
Take responsibility for the testing, maintenance, and integration of Comms and Networks equipment to include radio terminals, software loads, switches, routers, and firewalls required to support ground and flight test operations.
Work with system admins, maintainers, and onsite personnel to troubleshoot and repair any internal operational issues.
** The selected candidate will be put on a temporary Domestic Assignment and will report to our San Diego, CA site daily prior to international deployment while clearance(s), Visa(s), and other documents are processing. The employee will go through training in San Diego during this period. **
The expected timeline before deployment is 3-4 months but this will vary.
Initially, this position will work a 9/80 shift. As the program matures, the shifts may become 12-hour shifts that could include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site in Australia. This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time once in final location.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Principal Air Vehicle System Test Conductor- Engineering Field Service Representative (FSR)** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) organization.
This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. Deployment benefits will be communicated once a location is selected. If no immediate international or Guam deployment location is available, the candidate may be relocated to work at one of our core U.S. locations for the immediate future.
The FSR will be embedded with a US Navy unit and be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software, as well as supporting the sailors in the unit with system operations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. **Principal Test Conductor responsibilities include:**
+ Interfacing with NGC and customer Flight Engineers, aircraft maintenance Technicians, US Navy service members, and Subsystem SMEs in order to sustain operations.

+ Vehicle and Payload Test Controller (VTC/PTC) operations during aircraft start-up/shut down for launch and recovery, conduct static ground tests, and troubleshooting.

Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6-3), make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities. Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports. Document the results of Certification and Accreditation activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M. Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.
Applicant needs to be familiar with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the process of accrediting a system through it as well as the nuances present in applying RMF. Applicant needs to be familiar with NIST800.53rev4, CNSS-1253, National Security Memorandum 8 (NSM-8), and the Zero Trust Architecture/Networking (ZTA/N) high-level concepts and possible implementations. Applicant should be familiar with both initial accreditation activities as well as continuous monitoring tasks and be willing to adapt to rapidly changing toolsets and controls requirements. Applicant should have familiarity with network monitoring and vulnerability detection tools such as Nessus, Rapid7, Splunk, Xacta as well as strong competency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Northrop Grumman's Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking an experienced Digital Engineering & Digital Manufacturing Deployment Lead to work with a dynamic team that provides IT/digital leadership and direction with an emphasized focus on the Eastern Region Engineering and Manufacturing & Operations organizations which supports all Engineering, Manufacturing, Integration & Test, Production Engineering and Operations, and Facilities. This position will be located in our Dulles VA facility. We will consider candidates that could be located in our Linthicum MD or McLean VA facilities as well (with regular travel to our Dulles VA campus).
Role and Impact:
Coordinate all aspects of implementing innovative information technology (IT) solutions that deliver value and enable Engineering and Manufacturing & Operations partnerships for greater efficiency.
Lead IT strategic planning and IT implementations, as well as coordinate with other Space sector CIDO Operations teammates supporting day-to-day IT activity across the supported functions.
Work closely with other Functions and Shared Services teams, including Engineering SEIT/Vehicle/Software/Electronics, Physical Security, InfoSec/Cyber Security, Infrastructure Services, IT Operations and Application services, etc. to securely deploy, maintain and optimize IT services that enable all Eastern Region Engineering and Manufacturing & Operations.
Interact with members of the Eastern Regional Engineering and Manufacturing & Operations organization to optimize IT strategies in support of the organization's goals and objectives.
Provide leadership over IT & digital activities supporting a portfolio of various networks, including strategy development, budget and cost management, proposal development, product and service acquisition and delivery to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries and high level of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with project teams and resource managers to ensure delivery of requirements are met, changes are documented, and systems are developed, integrated, tested and deployed.
Resolve competing demands related to project scope, schedule, cost, customer satisfaction, and quality and ensure compliance with organizational processes and procedures.
Apprise CIDO management of status, customer satisfaction, and risks that might affect program performance to ensure team success.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field with 7+ years of relevant professional experience in support of Software Development, Information Technology, or Engineering and Manufacturing - OR - Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in support of Software Development, Information Technology, or Engineering and Manufacturing.
Proven ability to provide strategic direction regarding IT products, processes, applications and technology.
Experience managing cross functional teams, leading projects, budgets and schedules.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.

Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.

Details of Electrical Engineer Manager responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineering Manager 1 will support the Chantilly site programs in developing and managing program activities across various active projects / programs.
The work is unique, challenging and rewarding. Most of all, it is work that makes a difference.
The functional manager will lead a team working within the Chantilly E&S department. The successful candidate will lead direct report employees to accomplish organizational goals, deliver program results, and align with company policies. Specific responsibilities include coordinating programs for staffing, recruiting, training, preparing and delivering performance reviews to employees, evaluating employees for promotions, evaluating salaries and compensation, assisting employees in preparing performance goals, providing career guidance to employees and counseling employees on their performance as necessary. The manager is responsible for periodic review, update, and definition of technical process documents
The manager will be expected to provide and perform electrical engineering design and technical support. It is anticipated that given the size of the functional team, the split between technical and functional management duties will be on average approximately 20% functional / 80% technical on SIDE OU systems, representing our E&S organization within the OU. The direct program support may include technical activities such as IPT leadership and/or any other appropriate technical function.
Functional management responsibilities include staffing support/allocation, performance and compensation management, and career goals development.
Supporting the life cycle engineering execution to include systems design, development, test/integration, and deployment/sustainment activities.
Accountable to stakeholders and program managers for project status reviews, impediments / roadblock resolution, and the overall engineering / product quality execution.
Partnering with the program management office to ensure successful execution while accounting for cost, schedule, and resources management targets.
Providing technical leadership to the execution team to ensure that best practices as well as the applicable electrical engineering processes and procedures are fully and adequately implemented.
Supporting the implementation of sustainable continuous improvement.
Supporting the development and implementation of a critical skills growth strategy focused on building world class execution teams.

Knowledge and familiarity with Windows and Linux Operating Systems, specifically the ability to execute in command line and rapidly navigate both operating systems
· A background in test, design, and integration
Proficient with RF test equipment
The ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and environmental testing requirements for military grade electronics.
Full life cycle design, implementation, and feature/automated testing of software.
Must have at least 80% coverage on a program in the SIDE OU.
