The Facilities CrewMember is responsible for assisting with repair to existing buildings, repair and installing plant utilities, repairing fencing, painting, and general plant cleanup including mowing, weed eating and snow removal. Other responsibilities will include minor electrical work, some equipment operating.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Repair and maintain physical structures of all buildings using hand tools and power tools.
* Paint structures, and repair woodwork with carpenter's tools.
* Build sheds and other outbuildings.
* Perform preventive building maintenance duties, caulk windows and doors, repair and replace broken windows.
* Perform routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and water fountains.
* Perform routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures.
* General maintenance and repair. Work orders: assess situation; assemble necessary tools and materials.
* Preserve physical appearance of all buildings.
* Clean exterior walls using pressure washer and the painting of both the interior and exterior.
* Road maintenance.
* Brush clearance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience in Facility Maintenance or equivalent.
* Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
* Interpersonal Skills-the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things.
* Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
* Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
* Skilled in using hand and power tools.
* Knowledge of terminology used in building maintenance and repair.
* Ability to communicate/follow instructions orally and in writing.
* Work as a team member, providing support and assistance to other staff members.
* No fear of heights.
* Ability to lift 5o lbs.
* Ability to work in all types of weather.
* Ability to work overtime as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma required or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 2 years working in Facilities/Maintenance field and/or equivalent experience.
* Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure all required tooling, plates, cylinders, materials, dies, and accessories are staged on the set-up cart prior to press make-ready.
* Mount printing plates as required per job specifications.
* Organize and maintain the kitting area to support efficient set-up preparation.
* Perform machine make-ready activities, including loading and removing print cylinders, materials, laminations, dies, scoring equipment, and related components in accordance with standard work procedures.
* Assist Press Operators with the set-up and adjustment of auxiliary equipment.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to the designated preproduction areas after set-up completion.
* Assist in other departments or production areas as needed.
* Work collaboratively with Prepress and Production team members to support customer satisfaction, cost control, and on-time performance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred.

What You'll Do:
Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Weld. Perform large volume pump repair and general pipe fitting.
