The Detailer works as part of a team to efficiently clean the interior and finish the exterior of customer vehicles, and provide outstanding service, ensuring that all customer needs are met and that the customer leaves satisfied with their visit and car wash. The Car Wash Attendant will drive and clean vehicles and assist customers during their visit at various interaction points, including the carwash entrance and finishing stations on the exit lot.

Responsibilities:
Complete all necessary steps to thoroughly clean customer vehicles to a high standard based on wash package selected.
Enthusiastically greet customers, assist customers into and out of vehicles, provide clear direction to customers, alert management when cleaning of vehicle is complete.
Drive vehicles onto and off conveyor, program wash type and send vehicle; shut off conveyor if obstructions are in the way of moving vehicles in the tunnel; watch traffic flow and be aware of surroundings.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment year-round to ensure a positive visit for every customer including but not limited to: picking up trash, sweeping and hosing areas visible to customers, pulling weeds, shoveling snow and salting customer areas.
Wash and dry towels and carry buckets of towels to stations. Fill and stock cleaning supplies. Dig car wash trench, sweep and hose back rooms / storage rooms as needed. Clean wash equipment, windows, doors, and walls; empty trash cans and vacuum canisters.
Follow Waterway policies, procedures, guidance, and instructions, including and especially those related to safety.
Various other functions as identified and directed by management.
Physical Requirements:
Environmental - will work outdoors year-round, and be exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather (rain, snow), humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, and brief exposure to car wash tunnel noise.
Physical - periods of extended standing, bending, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, drive vehicles, reach above and below shoulder level. Complete tasks at a fast pace, sustain consistent physical effort, sustain continuous and prolonged standing and movement. Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm and professional disposition in all circumstances.
Vision and Hearing - Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision and depth perception. Hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds (e.g., alarms, horns, vehicles, and equipment).

**Responsibilities**
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
+ Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
+ Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
+ Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
+ Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
+ Fuel and stage vehicle
+ Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
+ Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
+ Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
+ Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
+ Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
+ Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location

Responsibilities
The detailer will use their manual dexterity and bodily coordination to perform an array of tasks, including washing the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, may also wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines, vacuum interior of automobiles to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains. Responsibilities:
Perform final finish/detail on deliveries, including cleaning windows, cleaning upholstery, polishing, waxing etc....
Use of high-speed buffers and polishers to properly detail the exterior surfaces
Car washing, steam cleaning and deodorizing interiors and applying protective agents to interior and exterior surfaces
Removing dust, grease and oil from exterior surfaces
Knowledge of proper products for safe detailing of vehicles including but not limited to cleaners for various surfaces, degreasers, and waxes
Promote a positive work attitude
Exceed customer expectations

Responsibilities
The detailer will use their manual dexterity and bodily coordination to perform an array of tasks, including washing the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, may also wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines, vacuum interior of automobiles to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains. May be required to use different types of dyes, paints and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles. May also be required to clean and remove grease on engines or engine compartments. Must be flexible and willing able to carry out additional duties as assigned by management due to operational needs.
Working Conditions:
This physically demanding position requires frequent movement; i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of various vehicles repeatedly during the work shift.
May require completion of work outdoors and under varying climate conditions.
Will work with and move numerous vehicles during the course of the working day.
Use of safe and OSHA approved waxes and cleaners such as, window cleaner, tar remover, tire shine, etc.
Frequent and continual flexing of spine, hands, wrists and fingers.
Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying of up to 50 lbs.
Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication.
Clarity of vision and hearing.
Ability to distinguish small imperfections in your work, such as, streaks left on windows, smudges on windows or painted surfaces, areas of missed vacuuming, etc.
Ability to quality inspect your work as well as that of other team members.
Work with a sense of urgency that demonstrates the value we place on our customers' time.
Strict adherence to our uniform and grooming standards.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have
1 or more years of detailing experience
A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect
The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs

The Detailer/Porter plays a vital support role in the day-to-day operations of the service and sales departments. This individual is responsible for maintaining a clean and professional dealership environment, transporting vehicles, and ensuring vehicles are detailed to a high standard for customer delivery or showroom presentation.
Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Handling & Lot Management
Safely move customer vehicles to and from service lanes, parking areas, and recon stations.
Organize vehicle inventory on the lot, including cleaning and aligning showroom cars.
Assist with delivery and pickup of customer vehicles when needed.
Perform fuel checks and battery charging when required.
Detailing & Vehicle Prep
Wash, vacuum, and detail interior and exterior of vehicles to dealership and customer standards.
Apply wax, polish, and protective coatings as needed.
Clean engine bays, windows, wheels, and other vehicle surfaces.
Ensure all vehicles are “ready to deliver” when assigned.
General Support & Cleanliness
Maintain cleanliness of shop, service drive, and customer waiting areas.
Dispose of trash, wash used towels, and organize detailing supplies.
