A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STATE AUTO INSPECTOR / MECHANIC

As a State Auto Inspector / Mechanic, you provide the top-notch automotive service we are known for. Attentive to detail, you perform annual state safety inspections on our customers' vehicles, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards. Working closely with other mechanics, you assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You also perform routine maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A STATE AUTO INSPECTOR / MECHANIC

  • VA state inspection license
  • Possession of tools

Summary:

Our Auto Auction Inspectors assess the condition of vehicles being sold at a fixed third party auction site and record any damage or repair required for the frame, paint, AC, radio, tires, etc. We process inspections using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software that is convenient to use and easy to learn. This is a great opportunity to get some fresh air as much of our inspecting of vehicles happens outside.

What you will need:

+ Valid state issued driver's license and safe driving record required
