Pros of working at Auto Truck Group

My coworkers were very nice.

Cons of working at Auto Truck Group

Mainly piece rate. As a material handler, I didn't get paid any piece rate, or any percentage of it. This created a very stressful environment for everyone, as fabricators were manically working to make as much money as possible, while the support system around them weren't fairly compensated. Also, management was dreadful. They were under qualified and just plain awful to employees. They once held my Christmas bonus and claimed it was because I was minute late. The light was at the end of the tunnel when I passed their welding test and was told they would check for an opening on the nightshift, they laid me off the next day. I don't think I'm being to dramatic when I say, I really hope those managers are in a much worse place now.
