Title:Civil Drafter / Designer (Land Development)
KBR is seeking a Civil Drafter/Designer to support the design and construction of a variety of projects in land development. The Civil Drafter/Designer will draft architectural/civil/structural design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules under minimal supervision and will be responsible for recognizing project scope, specifications, and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team. Additional responsibilities include structural modeling and design deliverables in REVIT and assist in developing detailed design documents (civil, concrete, structural steel, architectural, etc.) to be used in construction packages using REVIT software.

A mechanical designer is responsible for designing mechanical equipment and devices, together with the engineers and other technology professionals. Mechanical designers create layouts following the clients' specifications, perform structural analysis, and analyze dimensions to ensure quality. They also inspect overall equipment performance and recommend adjustments as needed to improve its quality and boost optimization. Mechanical designers assist with installation and system upgrades, respond with the clients' inquiries and concerns, and escalate it to the appropriate personnel for resolution. A mechanical designer must have a strong knowledge of the mechanical and technology industry to build designs according to the highest standards.
A design technician's role revolves around conducting extensive research and analysis to determine a company's needs. The technician will develop system plans and collaborate with fellow technicians and engineers. There are also instances where a design technician has to craft presentations and hand in proposals, revising them when necessary. Furthermore, a design technician must produce progress reports, abide by managers' directions, and adhere to the company's policies and regulations.
