Create clash detection sets in Navisworks with other building systems involved in the BIM process.

The Global Enterprise Network Modernization - OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The AGUN modernization effort will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.
The SE&I Draftsman will support the program by developing and maintaining detailed technical drawings, architecture diagrams, and integration documentation in support of system-of-systems engineering efforts. This position plays a vital role in visualizing and documenting system designs, data flows, physical layouts, and interface connections that align with Army, MIL-STD, and government configuration management requirements.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team, supporting efforts across the system lifecycle, from concept development and design to test, fielding, and sustainment to ensure the Army's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology across the globe.
Primary Responsibilities:

Support rack elevations, cabling diagrams, and hardware layouts for systems integration facilities and deployed environments.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Drafter to work primarily on 2D/3D structural plans in AutoCAD in compliance with building codes and standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to collaborate with a team. This position has the option to be a remote position within the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Responsibilities
Work with the Virtual Design Consulting (VDC) team to prepare underground utility plans and models.
Understand applicable underground utility standards, especially ASCE 38-02 (updating to ASCE 38-22).
Work with the VDC team to handle laser scan point clouds and prepare scan-to-model deliverables in Autodesk software suite.
Collect geophysical and survey data using non-destructive and survey equipment for underground utility and above-ground reality capture projects.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for potential projects and meet with clients to discuss project requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology or closely related degree or High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience with a focus on architectural or structural design.
Highly proficient in AutoCAD architectural and drafting principles (experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus).
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, managers, and clients with strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
Ability to read and interpret both architectural and structural drawings.
Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and engineering design software or similar industry tools is required.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, weekends and/or overtime as project demands require.

This position spends approximately 95% of time in an office environment and 5% in the field with project managers and clients.
