Their team supports critical infrastructure projects for Southern California Edison (SCE) and is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Drafter will play a key role in supporting SCE distribution infrastructure projects by producing accurate and timely drafting deliverables. This is a remote position, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with planners and engineers.
Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality drafting deliverables within established timelines.
Prepare various drafts for utility poles and reconductor projects.
Understand project scope and requirements to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate effectively with planners and engineers to resolve issues.
Create base maps for multiple departments using provided data.
Perform quality checks on all work prior to lead review.

Job Description
An Electrical/Mechanical Computer Aided Drafting Coordinator works very closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and other project team members to create, modify, and maintain system drawings, site development drawings, and any other necessary drawing documentation, and is required to fulfill project deliverables. All drawings are created in 2D with AutoCAD or Visio software; no 3D or modeling is used to develop drawings.
All drawings are developed through drawing templates for efficiency. All drawings shall be created in accordance with the current drafting standards to ensure consistency across all drawings.
Qualified candidate will be working on multiple projects to generate, modify and develop final “As-Built” AutoCAD drawings. The candidate will need to work closely with the Engineers of Record and various project teams for the development of our system drawing packages.

Remote autocad draftsman job
+ Seeking a 100% remote Civil CAD Technician to complete various small-mid sized site development projects. + The Technician will be responsible for creating drawings for a variety of underground drainage and piping systems. Mainly utilizing AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and Excel.
+ Most of the drawings will be in 2D but must be able to conceptualize depth.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years working AutoCAD experience within civil engineering
+ 2D experience required, but must understand depth within drawings
+ Higher education within CAD or related field preferred
+ Ability to effectively communicate with internal partners and external clients, stakeholders, etc.
+ Experience creating drawings for drainage systems preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
