Requirements
Must have the ability to receive / maintain a favorable adjudicated Public Trust investigation (US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident for at least 3 years)
You've achieved a Associate's Degree in computational or scientific fields, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Geography / GIS, Geoscience, Geology, or related field + 2 years OR Bachelor's Degree in related field.
You have gained strong knowledge of seismic or other geophysical data in order to understand how data is collected and structured to spot errors or gaps.
You are comfortable with databases and data best practices in order to keep data organized, accurate, and accessible.
You are detailed-oriented and have the strong ability in quality assurance and compliance to ensure data meets standards and can be trusted by scientists, regulators, and policymakers.
You are skilled in technical tools and programming, such as Python, R, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Access, Excel, or ArcGIS Pro to automate checks, identify problems, and keep large datasets reliable.
Nice to Have
You have experience with seismic or geophysical software such as Prosource, Petrel, OpenSpirit, IHS Kingdom, ArcGIS Pro, etc. in order to review and validate datasets faster and more accurately.
You have accomplished scientific writing or publication in order to produce reports and documents that are clear, professional, and reliable.

LOOP stores crude oil in eight underground caverns in a naturally occurring salt dome capable of storing approximately 60 million barrels. In addition, LOOP has a modern above-ground tank facility consisting of twenty-two tanks with a total storage capacity of 12 million barrels.
