As Supplier Quality Analyst will report to the Manager, Purchasing and you will be based on-site based out of our manufacturing campus located at 100 Thermon Dr. San Marcos, TX. Monday to Friday, core business hours 8am-5pm.
Role and Responsibilities:
Supplier Assessment and Qualification
* Evaluate potential and existing suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and company requirements.
* Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify their quality systems and capabilities.
* Develop and maintain supplier quality documentation and reporting processes.
Quality Issue Resolution
* Identify and resolve supplier quality issues through effective communication and collaboration.
* Investigate and analyze root causes of quality problems.
* Implement corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues.
Process Improvement
* Collect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with suppliers to implement process improvements and enhance quality.
