Document and inform the development team of defects with clear communication of quantitative and qualitative findings derived from test results.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts, and monitor efforts to resolve product issues and provide updates.
Ensure that the final product of every release satisfies the defined requirements and meets end-user expectations.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related science/technology-based discipline is highly preferred.
3+ years of hands-on experience in a manual software testing role.
Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, organizational, and issue resolution.
Experience with payment or accounting systems (ERPs) testing preferred.
Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
Ability to organize, self-manage, follow-through, coordinate, and prioritize.
Great problem-solving skills and a keen interest in new technology
Diligent and meticulous with high regard for best practices
Proficiency in creating test plans and defect tracking processes.
Experience with Jira and TestRail applications.
Proficiency in conducting black box and white box testing.
Proficiency in performing regression, ticket, and performance testing preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Working onsite is required.
