The role is a part-time and freelance engagement where you can work remotely from home. Responsibilities:
Interpret test requirements and implement technical instructions required for the content validation
Perform test cases outlined in the test scripts to validate content staged for publication during various phases: staging, pre-live and live environments.
Conduct content validation across multiple platforms: wed, mobile app, etc.
Install and utilize multiple technical tools required for the testing/validation workflow
Identify and reproduce the bugs within the validation test cases
Accurately capture the bugs to create fix tickets while correctly assessing the gravity or importance of each issue
Appropriately escalate inquiries using concise and clear language
Maintain a malfunction log for reporting the bugs
Confirm that debugging is done accurately and update the malfunction log respectively
Learn testing platforms carefully and independently to ensure smooth functioning during testing activity
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Based in US and willing to work in PST time zone
Commitment to flex hours: nights and some weekend hours, if needed, for business-critical campaign validations to support global business.

Job Purpose
As member of Advanced Safety Controls (ASC) Division, your role would support the advancement and integration of driving assistance and vehicle dynamics control technologies working towards the future of electrification and advanced safety in Honda and Acura products.
VCAP Integrated Performance engineers take ownership of developing a function or feature on the vehicle to suit the North American light duty truck (LDT) market customer such as, and not limited to, aspects of longitudinal ADAS control and Integrated Drive mode system development. Our group is uniquely positioned within ADC as we execute the entire V-Flow software/controls development process. We are responsible for the cross divisional gathering and formalization of vehicle level system requirements, allocating them down to individual units, creating software control specifications, verifying and validating integrated vehicle functions.
You would work under the leadership and guidance of senior members in the group to build your knowledge and technical skills with some autonomy as you gain experience
Key Accountabilities
Support with identifying shortcomings in function specifications through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and other research activities. Suggest solutions to improve the overall product to the customer from these activities.
Verify integrated control system software function by completing standard requirement testing on simulation bench and in vehicle by proving grounds. Work with Technical Expert and other function person in charge to countermeasure any issues found.
Validate integrated control system software through calibration by completing standard requirement testing on simulation bench and in vehicle by proving grounds. Work with Technical Expert and other function person in charge to countermeasure any issues found.
Support with preparation of verification test result documentation for assigned function and clearly present documentation to Technical Expert and Chief Engineer at data verification reviews. Continue to submit all necessary information as the development process moves forward.
Support with management of one or more functions in vehicle development projects specifically related to integrated control system specifications, actively maintain schedule and task list including internal, Japan Research and Development, and other function group schedules to ensure all expected deliverables are complete at each development milestone.
Support ISO 26262 testing, maintain deliverable schedule, and ensure requirements are achieved and approved by technical experts.
Correlate with Technical Expert to support the integration of software functions into the vehicle, as well as verification of the function.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, AutomotiveEngineering, or Computer Science
Minimum Experience: Co-op/intern experience preferred
Other Job-Specific Skills:
Basic understanding of requirements management, function validation, diagnostics, and CAN structures or micro controller communication structures
Familiarity with control specification development
Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to troubleshoot control system issues, propose and implement potential solutions
Hands on mechanical ability / understanding of vehicle systems and cross functional interactions
Strong PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other technical software)
Experience with data acquisition systems such as ETAS and Vector CAN tools is a plus
Experience with programming (C++, Python, Java, Matlab, etc) is a plus
Familiarity with ISO 26262 standard for functional safet
