That's why we need you, an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist who knows how to thoroughly test software and ensure that our team releases the best system possible. As a quality assurance expert, you'll work with analysts, testers, developers, engineers, and more on a team that evaluates developed systems for federal clients. You'll develop and implement a test plan based on requirements, functional specifications, and design specifications.

Using requirements analysis and software quality assurance, you'll generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards to see how the system performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You'll build your experience in various types of testing, including automation, performance, accessibility, usability, user acceptance testing, and testing process improvement. You Have:

* 2+ years of experience with automation, functional, regression, and integration
* Experience with automations frameworks including Selenium and Jenkins
* Experience with Rational Test Manager
* Experience with working in an Agile environment
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

* Knowledge of DevOps, SOAP UI Automation, Rational Functional Tester Automation, JUNIT Automation, and JMETER Automation
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000 to 120,000.

Job Description/Skills Required:
•Working within agile (Safe-agile) development teams with a BDD approach and supporting the developers to quality assure developments early.
•Setting up framework and standards, manage all the automation setup activities.
•Utilize development skills, data manipulation skills and scripting skills to engineer technical, repeatable tests
•Undertaking all forms of functional and non-functional testing
•Coordinating automation testing activities of your team and others
•Report on testing progress and strategy and provide interpretation and insight on progress to inform management to take decisions.

Technical Knowledge:
•Test automation using Cucumber test automation tool and Gherkin scripting language.
•Must have Skill Set -> Java, Selenium BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, Serenity, Web Services-REST, Web Services-SOAP
•Understanding of how to manufacture and manage test data in an enterprise-class development environment.
•Familiarity with development build and deployment environment (e.g. Maven, Github, Jenkins).
•Should have an experience in CI/CD

Client is looking for an Automation Tester to join the team supporting a migration system for a large financial client in Cary, NC. (preferred) or New York, NY. We are looking for an Automation Tester who has experience in Banking or Finance domain with an understanding of working with UX/UI Testing.The system has high visibility within the organization, and is used by many prominent partners. This role offers flexibility of joining a team using Agile methodologies to deliver high quality software to our customers.

You will also have the opportunity to work on a highly visible initiative to the highest level.


Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop and Automate tests for Software Validation using Selenium BDD.
• Conduct UI/UX, performance and dependent API testing
• Testing external customer facing websites
• User volume and stress testing.
• Conduct TDD/BDD SME to help developers with writing test cases and integrate part of the build process
• Support Change Control Management, crafting test plans and test related documents
• Hands on experience in Agile and Waterfall based projects
• Requirements collecting and requirement analysis
• Functionally mentor and guide team members and produce positive team results.
• Work with business partners and product owners to gather and understand requirements.
• Apply Selenium, BDD, Java, JIRA, ALM & Confluence
• Interacting with the offshore development team for continuous design suggestions, development, status updates.
• Mentor new joiners on the application and its functionalities.
• Mentor support teams on debugging application issues.
• Provide support to QA, UAT & PROD users.
