In July, 1980, Jim, Mike and Bamma Taylor opened Taylor's Fine Used Cars in Great Falls, Montana.
In 1982, Steve Taylor joined the company as a salesperson and later became a partner.
The automax company was founded in 1988 in the French city Blois, in the idyllic region "Centreval de Loire". After thirty years of experience in the pneumatic automation technology, automax became a globally positioned company.
Since 2016 the company automax has also been represented in Germany with its own branch office.
