Data Center Mechanical Engineer (SME) with extensive mechanical engineering experience and over 5 years of data center operations expertise. Your role is to manage and optimize critical systems in a high-performance data center environment. Respond to inquiries by drawing from your specialized knowledge and the following key responsibilities:
Critical Systems Management:
Oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems specific to data center operations
Implement and maintain critical environment protocols and Method of Procedure (MOP) processes
Conduct regular performance analyses of facility mechanical and electrical systems
Mechanical Engineering Applications:
Apply mechanical engineering principles to improve data center efficiency and reliability

Analyze and enhance airflow management strategies

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:
Propose and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE)
Evaluate and integrate green technologies suitable for data center operations
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO) and local regulations
Oversee safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data center best practices and emerging technologies
Team Leadership and Project Management:
Mentor and guide a team of facility technicians and engineers
Manage complex data center infrastructure projects, including expansions and upgrades
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with equipment vendors and service providers to ensure optimal system performance
Communicate effectively with executive management on infrastructure status and improvement plans

Desired experience and technical skills -
Required:
4+ years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance
Experience working in Data Centers/Raised Floor Environment
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Universal EPA 608 Certification
CRAC (Liebert) maintenance and repair experience
Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
2 years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in relevant craft skills
Preferred:
Expertise in one specific craft area (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Central Utility Plant Operations, Material Handling Equipment)
Familiarity with building automation systems and fire/life safety

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks
Unbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.

Seal punctures in tubeless tires by inserting adhesive material and expanding rubber plugs into punctures, using hand tools.

Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels.
Hammer required counterweights onto rims of wheels.
Remount wheels onto vehicles.
Locate punctures in tubeless tires by visual inspection or by immersing inflated tires in water baths and observing air bubbles.
Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
Rotate tires to different positions on vehicles, using hand tools.
Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
Inflate inner tubes and immerse them in water to locate leaks.
Clean sides of whitewall tires.
Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire & Lube Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is critical to keeping our fleet of concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and company vehicles in safe, working conditions. The Tire & Lube Technician will perform preventive maintenance, tire service, and minor repairs to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine lubrication services on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment (oil changes, grease, filters, fluids).
Inspect and replace tires on concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other fleet vehicles, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and report mechanical or safety issues.
Check and maintain fluid levels (engine oil, hydraulic, coolant, transmission, etc.).
Assist with minor repairs such as belts, hoses, lights, and battery service.
Document work performed, parts used, and service intervals in maintenance logs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company and OSHA safety standards.
Support the fleet maintenance team with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
Prior experience in tire service, lube service, or fleet maintenance (heavy truck/equipment preferred).
Knowledge of basic truck/equipment systems and preventive maintenance practices.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tire equipment safely.
Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor/garage conditions.
Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings.

Position Summary: The Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles used in civil construction and earthwork operations. This position is based in the company shop and supports field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for deployment.
Key Roles / Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support vehicles.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or other service needs and communicate issues to supervisors.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and work orders in accordance with company procedures.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues and complete necessary repairs.
Replace and repair parts such as bearings, brakes, hoses, seals, and other mechanical components.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Support field teams by preparing equipment for mobilization or demobilization.
Occasionally assist with welding or fabrication work as needed.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in diesel/heavy equipment repair preferred.
2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment, preferably in a civil construction or earthwork setting.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficiency with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.
Must have own set of mechanic tools appropriate for heavy equipment work.
Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
Working Conditions:
