Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles -

Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) and accurately document required parts and repairs

How much will money I make?

What are the Hours?

What are the work Expectations?
Duties/Responsibilities
Identifies mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
Performs further tests, which may include test driving the vehicle, to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by our auto insurance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LUBE TECHNICIAN
As a Lube Technician, your day revolves around inspecting tools and equipment for damage and reporting repairs needed. You schedule ongoing maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition and roll up your sleeves to conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, including changing fluids and hydraulic lines, ignition replacements, and replacing filters, starters, and alternators on various equipment. You also load, unload, and organize equipment around the yard while cleaning and maintaining equipment. Professional communication with customers is vital as you help troubleshoot equipment issues over the phone, in person, and through email. You create, modify, and close customer and internal service work orders accurately on the computer. Additionally, Lube Technicians prioritize safety standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently.
Starting Pay: $19.00/hour+ Depending on experience
QUALIFICATIONS
A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Customer service skills, computer skills, and the ability to learn new software
The willingness and ability to work on powered equipment

Good to Know Before You Start!
We will give you extensive training to master our relatively simple automotive services performed the Take 5 Oil Change way.
You will need to always be alert and aware of your surroundings. We emphasize safety first!
You must be able to physically maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position our technicians safely under our customers' cars.
You must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities that involve holding, grasping, pulling and turning.
While we will work to ensure the comfort of our work spaces, you will occasionally work in hot/cold weather conditions because of our open bay concept (weather permitting).
You will need to have reliable transportation to/from work.
