JOB SUMMARY A Service Technician is the front line and point person for our brand to the rider and encourages successful, profitable retail by taking their technical expertise to the next level as a driver of outstanding in store brand experiences. A Service Technician works directly with riders, both present and remote, to identify and locate the goods, services, and experiences needed to provide solutions quickly and frictionlessly to keep them riding longer and better. The primary responsibility of the Automotive Service Technician is to perform Automotive Service out of the JF Petroleum Group as it pertains to completing Service Work Orders. The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for Service Work Order Completion, accuracy, review, and scheduling. Works with JFPG Automotive Field Operations Manager to develop schedules and determine resource requirements in order to maintain maximum efficiency and production on each SWO assigned. Safety Activities: Understands, complies and enforces JFPG safety policies. Understands, complies and enforces OSHA safety requirements. Participates in safety programs provided by employer. Considers work to be performed to identify potential safety hazards and either eliminates the hazard or reports the problem to the Automotive Field Operations Manager for resolution prior to beginning work. Insures the use of the proper safety equipment at all times by all employees under his direction. Reports accidents or injuries to personnel office immediately. Aids in the investigation and documentation of job-related accidents. Administrative Activities: Provides proper documentation, as required by company policies and procedures or as requested by General Manager or other departments within JFPG (ie: vehicle maintenance sheets, absence request forms, petty cash reimbursement.) Reports immediately any unacceptable behavior or work habits of co-workers or subcontractors. This includes any violation of company policy, applicable safety standard, local, state or federal law.
