The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking an Industrial Mechanic to work at our facility in Davenport, Iowa. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality oriented and be willing to work in a team oriented, fast paced, refrigerated environment. This position requires individuals to perform general maintenance duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.
This is a combination of Mechanic and Leadership position; it will focus on line coverage in assigned area utilizing production and maintenance playbook processes and tools. Under the direction of production supervision this position will be required to safely operate assigned equipment and maintain all line equipment. This person will mentor and coach line operators on maintenance and operational aspects of equipment and process controls.
The MT should be the initiator of activities and should facilitate use of team approach for Continuous Improvement and implement ideas. The MT should be familiar with all equipment to the point he/she can adjust and repair during its operation.

Must be able to operate and maintain all equipment in assigned area.
Candidate must be able to train self/others on mechanical skills, mechanical repairs and overhauls, maintenance systems, computer skills; new technologies in preventive/predictive maintenance, problem solving/troubleshooting, etc.
Must be able to communicate and interact to coach team members on basic tasks in a professional manner.
Must have ability to perform duties as assigned such as change overs, center lining and other tasks requiring a maintenance skill set.
Communication with other mechanics, operators, and supervisors on other shifts as necessary to ensure coordination of maintenance efforts.
Qualifications:
Must have worked as a mechanic, have comparable experience or be able to demonstrate technical abilities.
Minimum Education of High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred Technical Certification
1 year of continuous prior employment
Work Schedule:
Work schedule varies. Must be able to work any shift needed (8-hour and 12-hour shifts), including overtime.

About the Role:
The Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. Responsibilities:
Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
Consistently complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs; Audit courtesy inspections performed by the General Service Technicians
Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro's safety standards including but not limited to Monro's Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures

Job Description
Hourly pay of $33.50-$48.50 (based on experience)
This position is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair of various types of heavy equipment. Looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic experienced in repairing large, off-road, construction type equipment in an industrial environment. Must be self-starter with the ability to complete diagnostics, troubleshoot and complete repairs to heavy off-road equipment such as pot carriers, loaders, material handlers, fork trucks, and cranes. Knowledge and experience with diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems and/or electronics preferred. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Must be able to understand technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and similar guides to make repairs and modifications according to OEM specifications and procedures.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1 - 3 years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
* Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.
* Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.
* Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.
