The incumbent under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the performance of a variety of bench, and hand tools, field and machine operations, requiring accuracy and precision, in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. 1. Adjust, clean and repair all mechanical equipment normally found in wastewater facilities. This includes valves, pumps, drives, gears, conveyor belt systems, chemical feed systems and other various equipment.
2. Dismantle and inspect machinery and determine appropriate methods for performing efficient and cost effective maintenance and repair.
3. Construct building partitions; replace roofs, doors and windows as necessary.
4. Operate acetylene and welding equipment, cuts and fits metal, brazes and welds mobile and stationary equipment. Fabricate equipment from raw materials.
5. Repair and replace plant plumbing and fixtures as required.
6. Paint, clean and maintain wastewater pump stations as required.
7. Perform and document pump station inspections as required per regulatory agencies.
8. Required to maintain residence within 40 minutes driving time to the Maintenance Center for Emergency response.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
10. Must work overtime, callout or standby as required.
11. Regular attendance and timeliness is required.
Qualification Requirements:

Maintain and repair aircraft components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components;
Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation;

Commercial part 121, 135, 145 or military background highly desired. T-6 or PC-9 experience preferred.
