Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs automotive systems and components. Inspect automobiles, trucks and related equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary overhaul or repair. Diagnoses and performs repairs on fleet, including but not limited to hydraulic, suspension, exhaust, electrical, cooling, fuel, electrical and component repairs. Fabricates repairs and maintains a wide variety of equipment constructed of metal including sheet metal repairs and fabrication. Instructs Parts Clerk on parts required to repair vehicle/equipment.
