Company-Funded Education Opportunities: NCCER Nationally Accredited Apprenticeship Certification Program Manufactures' training Language - Spanish and English Health and Wealth Education Emotional Intelligence, Leadership and Advancement Training Key Responsibilities of the Startup Mechanic include: Coordinates with project manager(s), internal installation crews, and external contractors to provide wiring and controls integration support Oversees and performs equipment on-boarding and configuration process Installs controls, wiring, and duct smoke detectors Performs a thorough quality assurance review of the installation (equipment mounting, electrical connections, plumbing connections and control wiring) Inspects and approves physical wiring and controls integration with associated HVAC systems Evacuates/charges refrigerant systems Conducts manufacturer prescribed startup and commissioning processes on HVAC systems Completes equipment informational and startup forms in a timely manner Qualified candidates will have: High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred) 2 years minimum experience as a Start-Up mechanic. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
