What We're Looking For:
* Valid Driver's License and good driving record
* At least 2 years of auto repair experience or coursework with automotive certifications
* 1 ASE certification (ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within first year)
* Knowledgeable in areas covered by the ASE certification programs, including, but not limited to, Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance and Light Vehicle/Diesel
* Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise levels
* Must have a complete set of tools required for auto repair and maintenance

Job Purpose:
Performs skilled automotive mechanic work, being proficient in the repair and preventative maintenance of vehicles. Continuously learns to repair OUC vehicles with high proficiency in progression towards achieving Master Technician status. Involves general automotive and equipment repairs with a strong emphasis on preventive maintenance procedures. Assignments will include, but are not limited to gasoline and diesel engine maintenance and repair, general welding, paint and body work, transporting equipment and small engine repair.
Primary Functions:
Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles/equipment under general guidance until proven capability;
Transport fleet vehicles, fuel, and equipment;

Perform general repairs to electrical systems;

Re-fuel and wash vehicles;

The Toyota Service Technician will work to properly diagnose, repair and maintain customer vehicles, while producing quality flat rate hours. Qualified applicants who are already Toyota Certified Technicians will receive a $1000.00 signing bonus upon hire.
Job Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair work in accordance with dealership's and factory standards
Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
Consistently perform quality Multi-Point Inspections, in order to recommend ethically needed repairs and maintenance items
Building upon your knowledge of industry-standard tools and equipment
Maintain an organized and neat shop area
Road-test vehicle to ensure quality repair work was completed
Proper preparation and completion of repair order documentation
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
