Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Department is currently looking for a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Ride Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled technical services, including the inspection, maintenance, and repair of ride systems and equipment. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, functionality, and smooth operation of all rides, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
Get hands-on with equipment and ride structures, inspecting every nook and cranny
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls to keep the fun rolling

Work with hydraulics, gearboxes, pneumatics, and conveyors to keep everything running smoothly

Qualifications:

Willingness to perform physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting at various heights on ride structures
Ability to climb up to 200ft

Job Summary:
The Service Specialist/Advanced Specialist for PVA (Jiffy Lube) is a Lube Technician that performs the advanced maintenance services to ensure the safety of our customer's vehicles. The Service Specialist/Advanced Specialist may work in various positions to meet the individual needs of the customer; therefore, they are thoroughly cross trained in-house for all roles.
Job Description:
Provide impartial recommendations or options that are tailored specifically to guest's needs based on manufacturer recommendations and technicians' findings.
Work efficiently to service the customers in a timely fashion, prioritizing safety always.
Perform automotive maintenance of the engine, transmission, axles, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical, heating/air conditioning, tires, batteries, and spark plugs.
Perform preventative maintenance such as oil and filter change, refill fluid levels, inspecting and replacing lights, and replacing wiper blades.
Participate in regular on-site and e-learning training, and maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube safety requirements, OSHA, and state regulations.
Participate in marketing events and promotions.
Keep customer, inventory, and service records and perform inventory stocking.
Perform housekeeping/minor building maintenance.
Promote customer loyalty by ensuring completion of quality workmanship, reviewing services completed with guest, confirming guest satisfaction, and encouraging return at recommended intervals.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of automotive service experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Dedication to following safety policies and procedures.
Willingness to undergo on the job training and a growth mindset.
Able to stand for an extended period of time.
Be able to lift over 50 pounds.
Be able to bend, stoop, reach, crawl, and climb stairs.
Comfort working in an enclosed and/or semi-outdoor environment.
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Qualifications:
ASE certification preferred.
Retail experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Essential Duties
