Communicate with local AHJ for ongoing projects and inspections required for permitting (i.e., temporary certificate of occupancy, certificate of occupancy). Support the development of new technologies for battery thermal response. Partner with SME's within EHS to gain support and alignment across varying projects, issues, and daily operating needs. Participate in shift briefings, team objectives, best practices, and priority changes. Monitor and respond to fire and life safety alarms and dispatch appropriate resources. Maintain coherence within EHS systems in Excel, Smartsheet, Jira Ticketing System, and 3rd-party software's. Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends, if needed. You Bring: High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years' experience in fire sprinkler/fire alarm installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance. 2+ years' experience in firefighting and emergency response. First aid and CPR certified. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work across various levels of the organization. Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and database management systems; with ability to chart data and present performance status to business. Must be able to lift, up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and/or walk for 10+ hrs. daily and climb stairs Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in fire science, engineering, or related EHS field.
