The Master Planner will be responsible to set and oversee the development of the production plan/schedule based on evaluation of the demand and plant capacity. They will be responsible for partnering with operations to ensure production plan is being followed to meet customer demands. Ability to place purchase orders according to forecast and demand; as well as understanding of cyclical, seasonal, and/or historical ordering trends Ability to proactively identify potential part shortages, work with vendors to prevent shortages, understand vendor capacity and constraints; as well as when to properly escalate potential part shortages. Perform purchase order acknowledgement, reconciliation of open orders with vendors, and provide forecast to vendors for future ordering. Identify root cause of late lines and implement corrective action to prevent forward to ensure fill rate targets are achieved and sustained. Ability to drive root cause for missed shipments and help to implement corrective actions to ensure Customer fill rate targets are achieved and sustained. Track on-time supplier delivery performance and drive root cause and corrective action to improve overall supplier performance Evaluate slow moving items and work with appropriate groups to propose clean-up, re-work, obsolescence, changes to lot sizing, stock status etc. Communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels. Manufacturing Associate The Manufacturing Associate will provide assistance throughout the plant as needed by performing simple machine operation and other miscellaneous production and shipping tasks as assigned, while assisting in achieving Tecomet's Principles of Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Innovation. Principle Responsibilities Operate machines and/or perform simple production tasks in the manufacture of Tecomet products. Operate machines that have already been set up. Prepare and load parts as instructed. Perform assembly. Perform simple inspections during production to detect quality problems. Ensure material and required documentation is complete and correct, and that certifications are present. Verify certifications with customer print specifications and router procedures. Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors and/or management as deemed appropriate. Laser Etch Technician I The Laser Etch Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting, engraving, and marking machines. They must ensure that each machine is performing safely and accurately, while also troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise. They must also be able to interpret customer specifications, program the machines accordingly, and provide test samples to customers. The Laser Technician must be knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of the machines, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and able to work with a variety of materials. Principle Responsibilities Validates parameters for the machines. Upload into revision control retrieval program Import computer files as needed. Program different features. Set-up laser equipment according to blueprint specifications and precise measurements. Run parts on the laser to meet specifications. CNC Machinist I The CNC Machinist I Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
