AvePoint is excited to provide an opportunity for an Account Executive-SLED who is energized to support education customers across the U.S. As an account executive focusing on the education market, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with existing accounts and securing new business within this sector. This role involves understanding the market's unique needs, including school districts and higher education institutions, and tailoring sales strategies accordingly. As our Account Executive-SLED, you will drive the identification and qualification of opportunities, develop and execute account and opportunity plans, and generate software license, maintenance, and services revenues. In addition, the AE will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers. Successful customer relationships will be measured through reference ability, customer satisfaction, and increased revenue levels.
What your day to day will look like:
Developing new prospects and expanding existing accounts
Using consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer insights and perspectives on IT needs that are fulfilled by our solutions
Using competitive analysis to educate customers on the value of our solutions
Continuously pursuing quota goals by working directly with the customer during negotiations
Working with a virtual account team to deploy the customer engagement lifecycle, that include; Marketing for lead generation, Business Development Representatives for lead qualification, Pre-sales Engineers for technical support, and Customer Success Managers for renewals after the initial sale.
Attending and participating in customer team meetings and communicating regularly with professional services and engineering staff to ensure customer satisfaction
Leveraging existing industry partnerships to grow AvePoint's presence in your region and establishing proactive relationships with influential people, both with the customer and other third parties
Handling post-sales support issues for customers, e.g. escalation of support calls, identifying additional training needs, etc.

**The Role**

Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Field Enablement Manager to support the onboarding and ongoing development of our quota-carrying sales professionals across the U.S. This role will work closely with North American sales leadership to coach, upskill, and activate our field teams, while also contributing to the quarterly execution of our global enablement strategy.

Sales Onboarding & Ramp-up training

Qualifications

Develop and deliver internal security scorecards for use with executive and board reporting.
This role requires
10+ years of technical hands-on security experience or security program management.
Deep Engineering Background: Substantial, hands-on experience in software engineering and development roles prior to, or integrated with, security leadership (i.e., you can speak the language of engineers).
Demonstrated ability leading multiple managers and teams.
SaaS Product Delivery Experience: Proven track record of securing rapidly scaling SaaS products delivered on cloud platforms.
Strong product security program planning, project management, and execution skills.
DevSecOps Mastery: Extensive, practical experience designing and implementing advanced DevSecOps toolchains and methodologies.
A background involving open-source security, vulnerability disclosure, SaaS cloud security technologies, product incident response, and a deep understanding of risk and threat assessments.
Experience identifying and resolving potential security issues involving compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory issues as related to Software as a Service (SaaS).
Demonstrated communication skills with detailed, technical information in a manner comprehensible by individuals at varying degrees of experience and skill level.
Bonus points if you have
Experience defining, documenting, and implementing controls required for compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, and/or ISO 27001.
Demonstrated success with achieving cross-organizational security goals.
A history of publishing, public speaking, and involvement with security industry working groups.
Experience with assessing/building multi-year roadmaps/advancing cybersecurity program maturity.

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
