The CAYAC Team is a unique model of community mental health which aims to support families through the process of screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders and/or substance use disorders in children, adolescents and young adults (up to age 18 / K-12). The Psychologist participates in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver psychological services, including assessments, diagnostic consultations, brief therapy and psychological testing. Regions is seeking an experienced Psychologist with an interest in and/or expertise with Pain Management to join our Interventional Pain Management team. The Pain psychologist - PhD/PsyD, LP will provide specialized psychological assessment and evaluation, consultation, education, and patient/family support, as necessary. The position requires the practice and understanding of pain psychology with assessment of adult and geriatric patients. Special areas of focus include pain and trauma. The Psychologist will function as a co-located member of Midtown Health Center's primary care team, including outpatient evaluation, consultation, and treatment for patients.
