SMWDC - Surface Warfare Technical Dahlgren (SWTD) team is seeking a Senior Operations Support - Fleet Reach Back Support for Integrated and Ballistic Missile Defense to join their team in Dahlgren, VA.
The SMWDC Subject Matter Expert team provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Marine Corps personnel to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups' and Amphibious Squadrons' staffs and their supporting forces prior to a deployment to ensure they are combat ready.
Duties include:
Provide expertise and data analytical support across the Surface Warfare Enterprise to increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force Provide IMPASS deployment training for unit and Strike Group-level naval fires training program as required in support of FRTP pre-certification and sustainment training.
Shall provide support both inport and at-sea, underway, in CONUS and OCONUS, and because the Fleet operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, some support will be required at other than "normal working hours". While underway, a normal workday will not exceed 12 billable hours in a day.
Shall provide support to SMWDC for a normal 40-hour work week except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
Required Qualifications:
BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
12 years military or relevant industry and/or government experience with the surface Navy's combat Systems, C5I networks, weapon systems and IAMD planning tools/systems
Five (5) years of experience aboard Navy cruisers, destroyers, frigates or within qualified Department of Defense warfare areas.
Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. Tactical Action Officer (TAO), Air Warfare Coordinator (AAWC), Battle Watch Captain).
Possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter or BMD Watch Officer qualification letter.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluations.
Experience in post weapons firing mission analysis of Aegis weapon systems.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide expertise on ARNG Roles, Missions, Authorities and Army strategic guidance and key planning efforts such as The Army Plan (TAP), Total Army Analysis (TAA), the Army Equipment Modernization Strategy (AEMS), and the Long-Range Investment Requirements Analysis (LIRA) Range Investment Requirements Analysis (LIRA).
Serve as a bridge between the Planning and Programming phases in the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process and ensures that analytic efforts support AR.NG Senior Leader guidance and priorities.
Maintain content, develop briefings and presentations, organizational sharepoint, provide systems security and privacy compliance, create tutorials and training videos, user guides, and maintain system documentation in accordance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d).
Serve as the primary facilitator for preparation, execution, follow up, and tracking of tasks and due outs for all meetings associated with the new PPBC-G process which is the chartered process for enterprise level resourcing decisions within the ARNG.
Qualifications
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field of study (Master's Degree Preferred) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of four years of experience, two within DoD, in directing, planning, and management of single or multiple programs including management of cost, schedule, deliverables, and performance measurement.
Possess demonstrable knowledge of the Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution (PPBE) process for the Army.
Possess demonstrable skill and expertise in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Possess demonstrable collegiate level writing skills, experience in developing briefings and presentation.
