The most common degree for aviation electricians is bachelor's degree with 38% graduates, with only 28% aviation electrician graduates earning high school diploma. Aviation electricians who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Phoenix or Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Some good skills to have in this position include test equipment, fuel systems and electrical equipment.
