General Summary: To perform duties associated with operational support as required concerning maintenance of all company aircraft, maintenance equipment, and hangar facility as assigned by the Director of Aircraft Maintenance and/or Aircraft Maintenance Foreman
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing general aircraft maintenance on all company aircraft to maintain airworthiness and operational condition per FAA, manufacturer and industry standards. Prepare required documentation for accomplished aircraft maintenance. The documentation to be maintained will include but is not limited to the aircraft log books, airworthiness directives, maintenance work orders, invoices, and electronic maintenance tracking records. Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule shared with other technical staff to provide coverage for departing and arriving aircraft.Assist/perform weekly thorough postflights Perform occasional additional support duties as required which include, but are not limited to, cleaning company aircraft including polishing of all bright works (interior & exterior) and cleaning and organization of company hanger and associated work areas.Consistently provide effective communications to the Director of Aircraft Maintenance concerning the status of a repair and the expected time for return to service (RTS) of aircraft.Must be available to travel for off base maintenance visits and international aircraft support when necessary.Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of aircraft maintenance concepts, practices, and regulations.Knowledge of or basic understanding of SMS (Safety Management System).Knowledge of or basic understanding of maintenance tracking software.Oral and written communication skills.Attentiveness to detail and precision.Interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with others.Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the need of the department including before and after normal business hours, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Minimum high school diploma.Federal Aviation Administration A&P License Required Inspection Authorization preferred Must be flexible with work schedule. Be available for weekend and off hour departures and unscheduled maintenance issues.Must possess a valid A&P license issued by the Federal Aviation Administration.Inspection authorization preferred but not required Gulfstream G280 or G550 experience preferred but not required Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security clearance Must be able to obtain/possess a United States Passport

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Complete structural modifications to helicopters
• Install medical support systems into helicopters
• Install avionics systems and STC kits into helicopters
• Accomplish airframe structural repairs
• Fabricate detail sheet metal parts from blueprints
• Develop custom installations for medical and avionics equipment
• Maintain shop equipment and areas
• Other Duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years' related aircraft sheet metal repair and modification experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Experience in use of sheet metal related shop equipment

Skills

• Ability to read and interpreting blue prints
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Computer Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• FAA Airframe Mechanic Certificate preferred

The AMT is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time in accordance with applicable HAECO Airframe Services ("HAECO"), FAA, and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his/her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. The AMT is responsible to work in a safe manner, eliminating waste, and delivering a quality product on time.

1. Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include powerplant, and flight control removal/installation.

2. Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, modify, replace, and/or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness.
3. Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.

4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

5. Perform work within estimated hours.

6. Follow all safety procedures and specifications.

7. Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.

8. Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.

9. Work with Leads and Supervision to accomplish assignments with little or no rework.

10. Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

11. Perform other work as instructed by the A&P Team Leader or Lead, if qualified.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list.

Language (read, write, speak, and understand English)

Two (2) years aircraft maintenance experience on transport category aircraft or Military aircraft.

PREFERRED:

Completion of Military aviation maintenance instruction and/or training programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Subject to noise in excess of 85 dB

Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and/or service stands.

May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment.

Must be able to breathe through a full face respirator.

Job required participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program.

Normal or corrected hearing.

Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds.

Minimum visual acuity of 20/40 corrected.
