The Ride Maintenance Mechanic performs inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and annual rehabilitation of various amusement rides and attractions. This position is in the coaster carpenter crew, making carpentry experience a must. Climbing and working safely at height is an essential part of this job.

Responsibilities:
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other required inspections of amusement rides and related equipment as assigned; taking corrective actions as issues are identified. Inspections are visual as well as auditory.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspects, repairs and tests amusement rides and related equipment. This may include repair or replacement of major components such as hydraulic cylinders, gears, chains, sprockets, pneumatic cylinders, hoses, brakes, clutches, wheels, bearings, gearboxes, springs, or various other mechanical devices.
Troubleshoots various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems and takes appropriate corrective actions.
Properly follows all repair procedures and maintains accurate documentation of all repairs. Maintains orderly and accurate records of all required inspections and work performed, and submits required paperwork to supervision promptly.
Communicates the status of assigned rides both verbally and in written format.
Maintains all assigned equipment in a safe and ready condition according to all applicable codes, laws, rules, company policies, and best practices. Works safely and efficiently on all assigned tasks, and coordinates with others as necessary to achieve desired results.
Performs various other tasks depending on experience including welding (Mig, Tig, and Arc) and fabrication; sets up and operates lathe, mill, drill press, grinder, and other metal working equipment.
Reads, understands, and applies information from manufacturer's manuals for service, repair, and or component replacement. Accurately reads blueprints (mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic).
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles such as gear ratios, torque, proper use of common hand tools, common mechanical nomenclature, etc.
Familiarity with common types of bearings, bushings, couplers, shafting and similar power transmission components.
Demonstrable knowledge of the fundamental principles of either pneumatic systems or hydraulic systems; preferably both.
Carpentry experience
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Ability to work safely and effectively while elevated on ladders, platforms, or other structures at heights up to 300 feet above ground.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

This position will work alongside fellow technicians performing recovery & postflight/preflight inspection duties, aircraft cleaning(interior/exterior), scheduled & unscheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's technical specifications and Federal Aviation Administration regulations and additional duties assigned by management. The position will maintain required FAA records, manuals, inspection forms, and other forms of technical data, both in paper and computer-based formats. **Salary Range:** $53,000 - $88,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Position Summary
As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you are ensuring safe and reliable flights.
Job Responsibilities
Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.
In certain cases, and A&P Technician may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in Company training programs.
Will at the commencement of each repair or inspection initiate the proper documentation. Parts tags will include a complete description of the discrepancy on all removed parts. Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

What You Will Be Doing: We are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft Mechanic to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-35 aircraft. This position will serve as a subject-matter expert on all facets of maintenance operations on the F-35 airframe as part of a Quick-Response Team designed to support pop-up tasking/operations anywhere in the world. Additional job requirement include but are not limited to:
* Frequent travel (over 50% travel), and in many cases, on very short-notice as maintenance events occur. This position is designed to aid our many F-35 customers/partners in quickly and efficiently returning aircraft to an airworthy condition and increasing aircraft availability across the gamut of operations.
* Incumbent must be a self-starter, ability to make timely decisions and willing to learn all facets of the nose-to-tail maintenance concept of the F-35 aircraft. This position, when not traveling, will be part of the larger Interim Contractor Support (ICS) infrastructure at an existing F-35 site.
* Candidate must be able to acquire and keep a flight line driver's competency card.

Responsibilities As a Power Support Systems Mechanic (Title 32), WG-5378-10, you will perform the below duties: Responsible for the interpretation of numerous manufacturer drawings, specifications, operating instructions, and test procedures to troubleshoot, calibrate, align and repair a variety of highly complex pieces of powered support equipment.
This includes identifying, repairing or replacing numerous electronic (both digital and analog) components.
It also includes the repair of composite materials and state of the art gas compressors turbines and electronically controlled components.
Troubleshoots repairs, adjusts and aligns down-sized powered support equipment.
Uses a variety of sophisticated testers, such as analyzers, digital meters, oscilloscopes and other measuring devices to determine repair requirements.
Corrects unusual maintenance problems by interpreting a variety technical data such as tables, charts, formulas, color codes, wiring diagrams, and schematic symbols.
Does circuit analyses, considers integrated circuit relationship, and applies electronic principles in order to fault-isolate and repair the various digital devices contained in highly complex powered support equipment.
Performs inspections, preventative maintenance, servicing, repair and adjustment on complex rotary diesel engines.
Must independently determine work sequences, specifications, and special procedures to be used to fault-isolate and repair unusual problems in various pieces of powered support equipment.
Conducts classes to train maintenance personnel in operations, test procedures, and troubleshooting requirements of highly complex powered support equipment.
Performs intermediate-level maintenance on powered support equipment and non-powered AGE.
This includes working on cryogenic equipment, engine and generator changes, removing, repairing, and overhauling of accessories, and rebuilding of units.
Engine rebuilding such as removal and replacement of crankshafts, pistons, and other integrated parts.
Replaces, checks and adjusts valves, bearings, cams, clutches, bushings, springs, armatures, pushrods, exhaust manifolds, tubing, hose and defective wiring.
Diagnoses gas turbine malfunctions, using visual and auditory senses, test equipment and applicable technical publications; makes repairs, removes, disassembles and assembles components and sub-systems.
