SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the Hangar Operations Support Technician is an integral part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of aircraft maintenance operations within the hangar. This position provides essential support to maintenance personnel, ensures the efficiency and cleanliness of the hangar, and contributes to maintaining an overall safe work environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: MAINTENANCE ASSISTANCE (80% of job): Caters and de-caters aircraft. Moves LAVs and GALLEYs to and from Back-Shop areas. Removes, loads, and transports aircraft seats. Transfers life vests from old seats to new seats. May assist with aircraft cleaning. Provides spotting assistance for mechanics and Quality Control (QC) personnel through various maintenance tasks. Performs cleaning tasks on engine cowl surfaces. Retapes wheels and other relevant components as needed for maintenance and safety purposes. Communicates effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. Responsible for accurately clocking into jobs. HANGAR FLOOR (20% of job): Gathers any items needed from other locations and pick-up areas. Locates ladders, carts, tools, and any items needed at the request of the mechanic. Moves off units to temporary staging areas. Coordinates with Supply Chain Logistics (SCL) for deliveries. General housekeeping of the hangar floor including disposal of scrap metal, scrap wood, carboard and other refuse, emptying hangar floor trash, sweeping entryways, and helping with emergency spill and containment. Performs Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walk and sweep in hangar bays. Bi-monthly inspection of all chemical cabinets and disposal of expired items. Cleans out alodine tank weekly. Notifies lead of any blood borne pathogen or pest control issues. Inspects worktables for serviceable condition and routes unserviceable tables out for repair. Cleans sanding rooms and removes accumulated sanding debris from floors. Returns all chemicals, cleco's, rags, bottle jacks, and shoring to their proper locations. Rolls up and stows extension cords, air hoses, and lights when not in use. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. General Labor experience highly preferred. Experience in Aviation or MRO preferred. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Compensation The full base pay range for this position is $20.77 - $24.00 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. SUMMARY: The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations in the assigned functional area. Ensures that maintenance tasks and functions are performed in compliance with the applicable requirements of the air carrier's maintenance program and inspection procedures manual. Provides training and development for mechanics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides supervision, guidance, and prioritization to the assigned team across multiple specialties and ATS requirements. Ensures that all work performed by self or those under their supervision, including subcontractors, is performed in an airworthy manner and in compliance with approved technical data, and that all maintenance steps have been accomplished. Utilizes customer package to ensure proper maintenance planning and execution, ensuring application of FAA and customer requirements. Supervises the maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, or approves and returns to service any aircraft or part thereof. Coordinates communication with Leads and crew as needed, including aircraft safety, planning, and quality. Validates material on order and coordinates with internal support organizations to ensure necessary products and services can be delivered when required. Coordinates Engineering priorities. Works with the Engineering Dept to ensure responses support aircraft delivery milestones. Responsible for keeping all assigned areas clean and audit-ready. Identifies and eliminates hazards that pose a risk to employee safety and quality of work. Ensures compliance with safety requirements. Responsible for on-time delivery and adjustments to aircraft delivery schedules. Reviews routine and non-routine labor hours before exceeding the allotted estimated hours. Coordinates maintenance labor requirements across skill sets on projects and, in conjunction with other maintenance lines, ensures efficient utilization of labor and resources. Communicates aircraft status with customers using ATS schedule tools and in-person communication. Understands and follows budget review plans for assigned aircraft and ensures targets are met. Communicates variances with the Manager. Ensures mechanics are adequately trained and assists them in following the procedures, methods, and practices for each duty. Continuously evaluates the OJT program. Recommends process changes to improve efficiency and workflow. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years' recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' aircraft maintenance leadership experience preferred. Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required. In addition to those factors, we consider the internal equity of our current team members in any final offer. Please note that the range above is the complete base annual range for the role. Provides customer support to various areas within the company as needed. Ensures accurate accounting of documents in both ATS and customer computer systems. Inter-files paperwork in various locations. This role involves utilizing various tools, equipment, and precision tooling to maintain and enhance the functionality of electrical systems. EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE: * High School education or equivalent * FAA Airframe or Powerplant license or enrollment in Part 147 school preferred * Previous Aviation and/or Mechanical experience preferred PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, use their hands and arms, talk or hear, and focus on objects close up. * Must have full color vision and visual acuity with or without corrective lenses. * The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. * The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. * Ability to handle and climb ladders and aircraft stairs. Compensation The base salary for this position is $20.77 - $21.75 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for a quarterly corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly rate will be determined by factors such as skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the upper end of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
