Position Overview:
The Audiovisual (AV) Field Engineer - I will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless integration and functionality of audiovisual systems. From networking to audio and video equipment, you'll utilize your technical expertise to bring our projects to life. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
Must attain AVIXA CTS and CompTIA ITF+ certifications within one year of starting
2+ years of previous AV/IT technical experience
Familiarity with loading, testing, and editing control code and graphical user interface files
Basic experience with digital communications protocols such as IP, RS232, RS485, and USB
Understanding of common audio and video equipment setup and adjustment
Proficiency with digital signal processors such as Biamp, BSS, Crestron, Extron, and QSC
Knowledge of software, hand tools, and test equipment in the AV and IT trades
Basic understanding of configuring wired and wireless TCP/IP networks preferred
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
