What We're Looking For:
Valid Driver's License and good driving record
At least 2 years of auto repair experience or coursework with automotive certifications
1 ASE certification (ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within first year)
Knowledgeable in areas covered by the ASE certification programs, including, but not limited to, Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance and Light Vehicle/Diesel
Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise levels
Must have a complete set of tools required for auto repair and maintenance
Basic computer skills including typing, data entry
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Job Summary
Under the guidance of Cost Estimating management, the Lead Cost Estimator prepares cost estimates for mid-sized to large capital construction projects with moderate to high complexity. This role involves close collaboration with the Project Manager and other team members to develop and update project cost estimates. The Lead Cost Estimator adheres to established departmental procedures, guidelines, and best practices throughout the estimate development process and when documenting the basis of estimate, while also supporting management in the development and continuous improvement of existing procedures and practices. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Functions
Collaborates with the Project Manager and team to create cost estimates at various scope maturity levels using InEight Estimate application and Excel.
Collects project scope details, drawings, schedules, and execution strategies. Prepares and maintains the Basis of Estimate document to support development of cost estimates
Perform QC checks on estimates prepared by fellow Estimators on the team and review and assessment of cost estimates completed by others. Provides feedback in prioritized and comprehensive format and develops formal Cost Estimate Review Reports when required.
Develop cost estimate by identifying work packages, quantifying scope elements, estimating direct cost line items and construction indirect costs, and estimating project "soft" costs such as project management, construction management, etc.
Support development of project budget contingency to account for estimate uncertainties and potential project risks events. Participates in risk evaluation sessions or pre-construction reviews, and ensures risks are documented and assessed in terms of probability and impact to enable project team development of risk mitigation plans and contingencies
Assists with preparing and assessing change order impact estimates, mentors' junior estimators, contribute to initiatives in business process improvements.
Conduct site visits of future and ongoing construction project sites to support cost estimate development and gain knowledge of craft/discipline scope of work.
Minimum Qualifications

Responsibilities include:
* Work proactively with shuttlers, auto detailers, return agents and managers to ensure proper vehicle supply
* Welcome members to the facility when they exit the bus or arrive on the lot
* Direct customers to exit booth, provide local directions and maps and provide return directions where applicable
* Assist members with questions and concerns to minimize counter visits
* Communicate customer service issues to management
* Ensure that hangtag information is completed correctly
* Maintain clean low mileage fleet mix requirements
* Maintain Emerald Aisle for cleanliness
* Thank member for their business
* Provide upgraded vehicles on request
* Perform other customer service related duties in addition to those listed, to ensure our service meets the needs of our customers
* Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
* Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
* High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
* Must have a minimum of 1 year prior customer service retail or administrative support experience
* Must have at least twelve (12) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
* Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
* No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years

When you join our Management Internship Program, you'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected opportunities. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
* Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
* Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
* Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
* Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
* Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
* Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
* Install hitches and trailer wiring.
* Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
