As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You'll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are 'member-ready' - this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.

What We're Looking For:

As a people leader, this role leads and establishes priorities for the team to develop, document, and communicate company and regulatory policies and procedures, and to oversee ground training for the Customer Service division to ensure compliance with safety, company, and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties
+ Lead team and establish priorities of ground policy and procedure activities for Horizon stations to ensure safe and consistent execution of aircraft loading instructions by station personnel in alignment with company objectives and regulatory compliance.
+ Execute on strategy for station training, policy, and procedure with a 6-12 month horizon, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance across the division.
+ Make decisions related to airports' policy and procedures while collaborating cross-divisionally to maintain alignment and operational efficiency.
+ Develop people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on delegation for stretch assignments, team growth, capacity building, and time management.
+ Shape culture of the team through action, presence, and reinforcement of behaviors that promote safety, accountability, and collaboration.
+ As the SMS Liaison, set the tone for safety within the division by partnering with senior leaders, Core SRA Facilitators, Core SMEs, and front-line teammates, and manage facilitation, documentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS).
+ Prepare for and facilitate the division Data Analysis Group (DAG) and Safety Review Board (SRB) to ensure proactive risk management and compliance. Assign and track actions as necessary.
+ Identify, evaluate, and communicate policies and procedures to promote compliance and efficiency, partnering with stations and internal departments to interpret and implement new regulatory requirements, security directives, and FAA guidance.
+ Collaborate with IT and cross-divisional teams to develop updates and enhancements for applications used by Ramp and Load Coordinator personnel, and consult on new processes, systems, and procedures impacting ground operations.
+ Conduct ongoing evaluation of policy-related processes, system impacts, and station tools, resolving issues and reporting to senior leadership while contributing to long-term strategy for ground operations and safety.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
+ 5 years of experience in a role focused on training, policy, procedures, or a combination of these disciplines.
+ 2 years of leadership experience.
+ Bachelor's degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of degree.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex material clearly and effectively.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications; ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop aviation policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
+ Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
