Founded in April 1991 by a group of engineers with strong engineering expertise, Avision designs, manufactures, and markets a complete range of quality, high performance scanners and key components for multi-function products.
Nov-1992 ODM Contracted with Fujitsu for the document scanners.
Sep-1994 ODM contracted with Xerox to offer key component for multifunction products.
Dec-1995 Document scanner (AV800C) and sheetfed scanner (AV100C) won "Taiwan's Symbol of Excellence" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Oct-1995 Received the 5th fastest growing company award from Science-Based Administration.
May-1996 New plant grand opening.
Feb-1996 Professional flatbed scanner (AV6240) won "Taiwan's Symbol of Excellence" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Dec-1997 Annual sales exceeded NT$1,200M (US$34M).
Dec-1997 A3 size scanner (AVA3), digital copy device (DS300) won "Taiwan's Symbol of Excellence" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Jul-1999 Completed the additional construction of 3rd and 4th floor of factory(entire working space 30,253 square meters). Dec-1999 Annual sales exceeded NT$6,200M(US$177M).
Dec-1999 Scan Copier won "Taiwan's Symbol of Excellence" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Dec-2000 Annual revenue exceeded NT$9,400M (US$268M).

The number of patent applications in 2003 ranked the 1st among the companies in Suzhou (China) Science Park.
Oct-2004 Announced Laser MFP to officially enter the MFP market.
Apr-2004 Received the year's honourable importing and exporting manufacturer award from International Trading Bureau.
Nov-2004 MF3200 series received "Taiwan's Symbol of Excellence" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Dec-2004 Avision Suzhou received "High Tech" enterprise from Suzhou city in China.
Nov-2005 Announced AM6120 MFP to officially enter the market.
Sep-2006 Established the 2nd manufactoring base in China- Avision Business Tech.
Jun-2006 AM6120 received "Best Choice" award in 2006 Computex Taipei.
Mar-2007 Listed one of the most patents applied in SIP. The honest and trust worthy enterprise authorized by Customs of SIP. Oct-2007 Received R&D Accomplishment Award from Hsinchu Science Park Administration.
AV220D2M+ won the prestigious 「Best Choice」 of COMPUTEX Taipei 2011 Award .
May-2012 MiWand 2 PRO won the prestigious "Reddot Design Award" and "Best Choice" of COMPUTEX Taipei 2012 Award.
Jun-2013 "AM7845" the first MFP,which independently developed by Taiwan is announced to the market officially.
In 2014, Avision announced its first A3 and A4 laser printers, the AP510 and AM30 series, and has become the first printer and MFP maker in Taiwan.
By the end of 2016, the A3 MFP, AM7850 series have been successfully developed to integrate the scanning, printing, and the networking capabilities to one single unit.
Sep-2016 Avision invests in Xiao Ma Cloud Print to reach a cooperation agreement.
AD215 won "COMPUTEX d&i Award" of COMPUTEX Taipei 2016 Award.
Dec-2019 Avision becomes the sole authorized agent in Taiwan of CapsoCam Plus®.
