The ALIP Configuration team within the Actuarial department is responsible for the successful implementation of complex calculations in our policy administration system. As a Product Testing Analyst, you will work directly with the configuration analysts to test critical processes within the ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform) system related to the configuration of insurance/annuity products. You will report to the Senior Manager Product Testing.
What you do:
* Develop in-depth understanding of complex insurance and annuity products and business processing
* Solve complex problems considering required business functionality, sustainability and scalability of solutions
* Develop and maintain validation tools
* Collaborate with business and IT teams on test execution
* Troubleshoot, debug and fix issues as they arise in lower and production environments.
* Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on system functionality
* Develop product expertise for all lines of business
* Work within an Agile environment focused on product delivery
* Communicate effectively with various teams, 3rd party vendors, and team members to improve turnaround time and efficiency
* Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
What you bring:
* Understanding of Life and Annuities product rules and business processes
* Life and Annuities product testing experience with a Policy Administration System; ALIP Configuration is preferable
* Understanding of SQL database and ability to write simple queries
* Advocate of Agile practices and culture
* 4 year degree required or equivalent experience: Four year degree in technical discipline, engineering, business, Actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics or related field
* You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
Job posting range: $69,000 - $103,500
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

In this newly created role, you will serve as a quality assurance partner within the Pharmacy team, driving excellence across PBM and internal pharmacy operations. You will conduct complex quality reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards, while championing enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives. The Data Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of data infrastructure, user interfaces and services. This position focuses on validating data and requires attention to detail, an analytical mindset and the ability to design and leverage high quality test cases. This position plays a vital role in delivering first-in-class software products to NGL's valued customer base.
Primary Responsibilities:
Automated Test Design
Create and design automated data test scenarios based on system specifications.
Develop test scripts using environment appropriate tools to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop automated testing strategies and provide feedback in analysis, design, implementation, and execution phases.
Think creatively and brainstorm suggestions for developing, releasing, and maintenance of test procedures.
Identify opportunities presented in regression testing, ELT testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing.
Confirm data and implement data manipulation or modeling as needed.
Defect Identification
Investigate data quality defects thoroughly and document.
Provide clear steps to reproduce issues along with precise definitions of the environment in which the defect was located.
Test Documentation
Maintain accurate test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test results.
Communicate best practices in data testing and quality across teams.
Collaboration
Work closely with the Software Quality Manager, Data Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to drive towards higher software and data quality.
Communicate effectively, honestly, and transparently to resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with the team to improve testing processes.
Participate in Quarterly Planning, Daily Stand-up, Review and Retrospective meetings.
Be a positive influence for other team members; promote goodwill amongst IT and other departments of the organization.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Essential to Your Success:
Knowledgeable in Python and AWS Glue/Lamda.
Solid understanding of SQL for data validation, analysis and test automation.
Direct experience working in the following systems:
Version Control: Git
CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Gitlab pipelines, Jenkins
Experience in an Agile/DevOps environment in collaboration with Analysts, Product Owners and Application Developers
Experience with front-end & backend testing
Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence representing QA principles within agile teams and project leadership.

Education Requirements:
Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or other related area preferred.
Years of Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience with automated unit and integration testing required. Experience in testing data validation scenarios required.
Exposure to Agile teamwork methods and experience in the insurance industry preferred.
