Some heavy lifting required
Operation of power equipment
Light custodial duties inside school building
Must hold a valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities

Support a positive and safe school climate through proactive student support, communication, and visibility throughout the school day.
Oversee clubs, student organizations, and fundraisers, ensuring approval, compliance, and meaningful opportunities for student involvement.
Assist the Athletic Director through event supervision and support of athletic program operations, fulfilling Assistant Athletic Director duties as assigned.
Participate in the evaluation of certified and non certified staff as assigned by the Principal.
Support daily school operations, student activities, and additional responsibilities assigned by the Principal or Superintendent

Qualifications:

Essential Functions:
Collect, deposit, and record all school funds, including student activity fees, fundraising revenues, and donations.
Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements for school accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in accordance with district guidelines.
Process purchase orders, check requests, and invoices for school-related expenses.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for the school principal and district office as needed.
Maintain records for school fundraisers and ensure compliance with school board policy.
Serve as the point of contact for staff regarding school-related financial procedures.
Assist with annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
Provide general office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with student attendance or registration tasks as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and student information professionally.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Perform large-quantity cooking in the preparation of entrees, side dishes and other foods in support of District-wide food service operations; calculate, follow, adjust and extend recipes. Maintain food services facilities, equipment and utensils in clean & sanitary conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years food service experience including one year performing large-quantity cooking duties preferred. Should possess knowledge of the technical aspects, methods, materials, terminology, principles, practices, procedures and equipment used in assigned field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Communicate and interact with students, school staff, and department personnel in a courteous caring manner, using good customer service skills.
2. Perform large-quantity cooking in the preparation of entrees, side dishes and other foods in assigned school; assure cooking activities comply with standardized recipes, established safety and sanitation / HACCP requirements and HACCP guidelines.
3. In consultation with Cafeteria Manager determine appropriate quantity of food items to cook and serve specific population; assure compliance with industry food quality standards.
4. Monitor inventory levels of food items, cooking ingredients and supplies, informing manager to assure adequate supply; assist in receiving as assigned by Cafeteria Manager.
5. Operate and maintain standard food service equipment, reporting maintenance and repair needs to Cafeteria Manager.
6. Perform cashiering duties as assigned and trained, maintaining related records.
7. Maintain a variety of records related to cooked items, inventory and assigned activities.
8. Train and provide work direction and guidance to designated personnel as assigned by Cafeteria Manager.
9. Assist with recipe testing and development as requested.
10. Perform related duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager/Director to meet the particular needs of the building/unit.
