Position Summary
Primary Vascular Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our growing mobile vascular team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality vascular ultrasound services directly within long-term care facilities.
This position is ideal for a vascular sonographer who enjoys independence, variety, and working within a supportive team environment.
Candidates who are not currently vascular certified are still encouraged to apply; we offer up to one year after hire to obtain the certification.
What You'll Do
Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment according to PVC protocols
Confirm patient identity and review clinical documentation
Perform vascular and venous ultrasound exams, including venous reflux studies
Capture diagnostic-quality images and obtain additional images as needed
Use proper patient positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques
Document findings, limitations, and incidental findings accurately
Follow HIPAA guidelines and infection-control protocols
Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; report issues promptly
Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teams
Support quality standards and participate in ongoing training
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Review requests for additional staffing and equipment; provide input and recommend staffing and equipment needs for budget purposes to the Regional Manager of Operations.
Work and maintain a full-time regular work schedule.
Verify staffing for all shifts is met.
Participate in the full range of human resources responsibilities.
Write, receive, review, and approve staff reports, records, and related paperwork.
Investigate incidents involving assigned units and communicate with the Operations Supervisors and Regional Manager of Operations on status of assigned units and other problems.
Submit reports on all incidents, accidents, and work-related injuries and exposures.

Fellowship training is not required and this position would be a good fit for a general urologist or one with subspecialty interests in: endourology (management of complex stone disease, including ability to perform percutaneous nephrolithotomy), men's health (especially surgical management of enlarged prostate including ability to perform holmium laser enucleation of the prostate; sexual health; infertility), and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (management of female urinary and pelvic dysfunction).

Position Highlights:
• Join a dynamic urology team led by an experienced Division Director, supported by part-time faculty members and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). One APP focuses on gender-affirming and reconstructive care, while the others are trained in general urology.
• Call schedule will be 1:4 on a weekly basis, with primary call responsibilities handled by residents.
• Urologists perform complex surgeries and some inpatient consultations at the main campus, with operations extending to satellite locations. Cases requiring acute intervention from satellite locations are transferred to the main campus. Urologists have access to five surgical robots, including four da Vinci Xi robots and one single-port (SP) robot, available OR block time and interventional radiology support. Experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery is preferred, but not required.
