Dr. Mattera initially served as a member of the II-VI Board from 2000 until 2002.Dr. Mattera joined the Company as Vice President in 2004, and served as Executive Vice President from January 2010 to November 2013, when he became Chief Operating Officer. Mr. James J. Peterson is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Microsemi Corporation.He served as President of LinFinity Microelectronics, Inc., a manufacturer of linear and mixed signal integrated from 1997 to 1999 and as its Vice President of Sales from 1996 to 1997. We acquired LinFinity Microelectronics, Inc. in 1999. Prior to joining LinFinity Microelectronics, Inc., Mr. Peterson served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Corporate Communications of Texas Instruments Storage Products Group from 1984 to 1996. Mr. Peterson was a Director of STEC, Inc., a storage solutions technology company based in Santa Ana, California, from 2003 to 2009.
