Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifies problems and opportunities, drives implementation and monitors results. The selected candidate should live within 50 miles of a GRS hub office, and be able to come into the office two days/week.

We're actively seeking a talented Private Credit Surveillance Analyst to join our Private Asset Investment team in Newport Beach, CA.
The Private Asset team manages a rapidly growing portfolio of over $25 billion of AUM and operates within the Pacific Life Investment (PLI) division that manages over $150B of AUM.
The Private Credit Surveillance Analyst will assist with the onboarding, implementation and future monitoring of private credit deals in a portfolio management platform, iLevel. This role involves interfacing with internal teams (credit analysis/underwriting, risk management) and external partners (consultants, technology vendors).
How you'll help us move forward:
Support the Private Credit Surveillance Manager in implementing a new portfolio management SaaS platform.
Collaborate with our legal and business analyst teams to locate pertinent documents.
Read and interpret legal documents to extract covenant and reporting requirements.
Perform spreadsheeting activities with the assistance of an ADI (Automated Data Ingestion) tool.
Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring functions; some credit analysis is necessary.
Assist with developing automated dashboards and reports that highlight key performance indicators, covenant tracking, and early-warning signals.
The experience you bring:
Education: Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment operations, credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, or related role.
Strong Collaborator: Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, works well in cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills: Moderate to strong MS Excel skills. Experience using workflow and surveillance software a plus but not required.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
Accurately analyzes financial statements and related filings for a diverse and complex group of different size policyholders and prospective customers. Conducts analysis that includes assigned credit rating, key strengths, weaknesses, industry outlook and recommended collateral options. Collaborate with underwriters and management to determine appropriate collateral amounts and structures for insured programs. Facilitate the approval of exception when needed. Understands and interprets financial statements of varying quality including internally company prepared statements up to those prepared in accordance with GAAP or IFRS. Understands various organizational structures, investment and debt has on the creditworthiness of subject companies. Regularly accesses and appropriately utilizes a variety of informational resources including First Research, Rating Agencies and other related sources to identify and understand trends and gauge subject company performance relative to peers and industry. Thorough understanding of insurance products, collateral types and associated credit risk. Drives the production of complex management reports and associated results analysis, using business acumen and analytical ability to lead the team in identifying business drivers of results and communicating them effectively. Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifies problems and opportunities, drives implementation and monitors results. Initiates and leads complex department projects and continuous improvement activities that may include working cross functionally with other departments. Supports development of team members by sharing best practices, conducting peer reviews that identify strengths and opportunities, and training of less experienced analysts.
The selected candidate should live within 50 miles of a GRS hub office, and be able to come into the office two days/week.
Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required
CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
Minimum of 5 years of finance experience. Experience with credit analysis and/or financial statement analysis is preferred.
Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple accounts and projects simultaneously to drive results
Communicates well with own team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals
Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail
Solid understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods

Summary
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for preparing accounts receivables estimates, tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues, supporting the collection efforts for the retirement and wealth business, and assisting with month-end close tasks.

Audit books of business under management to ensure all cases are receiving commissions
Document payment cycles, billing cycles, and error reports to assist with revenue tracking and account maintenance

About the Position
Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst II for our Finance Department. In this role you will be communicating with insureds, agents and brokers regarding timely payment of their accounts. Other responsibilities include:
Performs various accounting and record keeping duties related to the processing of customer payments.
Prepares, processes and records daily bank deposits.
Provides various customer account analyses to agents, insureds and brokers.
Reconciles all cash/check receipts.
Corresponds and communicates with associates and clients regarding customer accounts.
This position is required to be onsite at our Leader Heights, York, PA office.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of two (2) years of college education with focus on accounting or equivalent work experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent numerical/analytical ability required for processing cash/check receipts while maintaining accurate customer accounts and performing collection efforts when necessary.
Ability to plan work priorities and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and upper management.
Preference for activities requiring high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to prepare periodic or single purpose reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages accounts receivable book of business to ensure payments are received for premiums owed by clients.
Records daily, cash postings and transactions to reconcile accounts receivable.
Maintains accounts receivable files and records.
Assists in general financial management and analysis.
