Our team is expanding, and we are currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic. This position supports the Facilities Department in the daily operation and maintenance of Axcelis' principal manufacturing and warehousing sites. This role will contribute to the effective management of the environmental, health and safety program at Axcelis' semiconductor equipment manufacturing facilities in Beverly, MA.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair facility structure, equipment and grounds
Perform minor carpentry, painting and floor repairs
Perform inspection and minor repairs of roofing systems
Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance such as filter changes and daily inspections
Maintain equipment logs
Complete PM and daily work order requests on a computerized maintenance (CMMS) system
Perform minor repairs on mechanical equipment such as chillers, air compressors, pumps and boilers
Work with skilled trades, engineers and manufacturing to complete any work requests
Monitor Building management system and respond to alarms
Assist with snow removal - shoveling/blowing/ice melt on walkways, stairs, roof, etc.
Maintain snow removal equipment
Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-in program
Assist with Hazardous Waste and Recycling management
Basic Qualifications:
3 to 5 years Facility Maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment required
Basic industrial electrical, plumbing and HVAC understanding required
Ability to work overtime as needed during special projects required
Ability to works from blueprints, drawing and rough sketches required
Building Management System (BMS) experience preferred
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferred

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily import/export transactional tasks
Interface with freight forwarders, US customs officers, custom brokers, internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to customs and import and export regulations
Provide relevant product information to internal teams to support HTS classifications, Export Control Classification (ECCN) and country of origin information
Manage import/export recordkeeping process in compliance with guidelines set forth by regulations and Axcelis Technologies policy
Ensure that Axcelis partners, customers, vendors etc.are appropriately screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, antiboycott language, diversion, etc.

Molder/Packer ensures proper labeling, packaging and quality of product. Checks product and packaging quality on a regular basis, informs the supervisor of problems or trends. Follows established work instructions, policies and procedures. Covers breaks as needed throughout the shift.
Support safety efforts on the shift. Support housekeeping for the Production floor as required.

Responsibilities:
Guide our batch ion implanter product development team with requirements development, design input, and verification test development for new feature development and sustaining engineering projects.
