POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a resilient, high-energy, experienced engineer to become our Operations Manager for Axiom's Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) program in support of NASA's LTV Services (LTVS) contract in partnership with Astrolab. The role requires strong problem solving, organizational, time management, and communication skills. Experience in Extravehicular Activities (EVA) and Extravehicular Robotics (EVR) operations and hardware is desired.
Employment in this role is contingent on Astrolab/Axiom being selected as a winner of NASA's LTVS contract award.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leading the team responsible for crew operations training products development, flight operations interfacing, mission training and execution.
* Working alongside engineering and safety teams to influence design from an operations perspective.
* Establishing strong working relationships with leadership, respective internal/external stakeholders, and NASA customers.
* Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
* Providing mentorship to engineering staff.

POSITION SUMMARY

The GSE Maintenance Engineer reports to the Ground Manager and will work alongside a multi-disciplined engineering team and technicians to facilitate all needed maintenance and operations. You will also identify maintenance consumables help to define the on-hand spare requirements for GSE. We are looking for an electrical engineer to help SpaceX develop and build launch systems for Starship. This role will be focused on electrical control systems for the launch mount and integration tower, including I/O systems, motion systems, and supporting infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electrical systems:
Architect, design and integrate control systems for the Starship Launch pads
Design industrial electrical control panels which are NFPA79/NEC/UL508A compliant
Design control and data acquisition systems
Design and author electrical schematics
Design electrical conveyance and distribution systems (e.g. raceways, cables, wiring methods)
Work closely with other disciplines. Interface control systems with high power equipment and communication equipment.
Design electrical systems for hazardous environments
Control software:
Architect, write, and debug PLC code with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable for similar applications
Configure, commission and tune VFDs for open and closed loop control system applications

The logistician will oversee flight hardware packaging, shipping, ground support equipment (GSE) inventory, and transports. Tasks will be geared towards supporting launch manifests while keeping a safe, team driven work environment as we work towards manned missions and Mars.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the transport coordination of our flight hardware and support equipment necessary to ensure safe and successful launches
Provide input and recommendations in compliance with DOT/CFR regulations to logistics and manufacturing departments for development and improvement of new and existing transport hardware
Coordinate the transport of flight hardware equipment and vehicles interfacing with manufacturing, engineering, mission management, and outside transportation vendors to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate the transport readiness of transport equipment, including providing direction to transport technicians as necessary
Utilize master production schedules to coordinate resources ensuring teams and transport hardware/equipment are available
Develop, document, and coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient packaging of flight vehicles, modules, and equipment is maintained
Create/maintain reports, presentations, and metrics as required to add value to organization and company development
Manage the development and implementation of annual and long-term technical, schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for logistic activities and continue participation in the development of overall annual and long-term objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, business administration, or supply chain and 5+ years of professional experience with logistics or scheduling; or 7+ years of professional experience with logistics or scheduling in lieu of a degree

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate activity with technicians and support functions through all tube bending operations, including tube prep, flaring, CNC bending, inspection and cleaning
Set up, operate, and supervise the operation of all tube-bending equipment while working to close tolerances
Work closely with engineering to prove out designs to blueprint with minimum fixtures and short schedules
Solve tube fitment issues and document changes for further development work
Develop and manage actions to improve both quality and productivity
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collaborating with subsystem teams who are developing Axiom's LTVS design.
* Providing technical oversight of program-wide avionics functions and design as it evolves from development to production and testing.
* Coordinating and planning avionics tasks to meet program development plan and schedule.
* Managing the overall avionics architecture and drive sound technical decision making.
* Participating in all aspects of avionics development from design to certification and flight.
* Managing and communicating project progress, status, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
