Your Impact:

As Axon's Federal Defense Solutions Director, you're responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy, solution generation, and sale of Axon's software solutions into the Federal and Civilian markets. Sales

Your Day to Day

Your Impact

You will help us enhance Axon's security posture by hardening our system boundaries and help to keep us a few steps ahead of those out to harm us. * Learn about challenges the InfoSec and larger Engineering teams experience and work with members from these teams to design solutions such as collecting and processing information on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
* Collect and make sense of useful data, turn it into information, and make it actionable by others

Basic REQUIREMENTS

* 2-5 years professional experience developing software
* 0-2 years professional experience working on security-related projects
* Experience with vulnerability management efforts, including assisting in remediation efforts for identified vulnerabilities
* Ability to work independently and comfortably in a fast-paced environment
* Experience ensuring the effective use of commercial and open-source security solutions to solve complex security issues, both architectural and operational in nature
* Strong coding experience in languages such as Go and Python
* Ability to create, extend and document REST API's

Your Impact:

This is a role on a "startup" within the organization where we'll move fast, win our earliest customers in verticals outside of public safety, and build repeatable sales motions and successful partners.

Partnerships are key to the Enterprise effort at Axon and the industry leads are responsible for selling our products and services directly and indirectly to the most strategic customers within their vertical. This is a quota carrying, external field position. Ability to think creatively, articulate complex solutions, build and maintain senior level relationships, navigate across large integrators and Fortune 500 accounts, and lead the Axon team to success is required. The position provides technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and/or product training.

Your Day-to-Day:

* Own and build our Enterprise direct sales and indirect channel partnerships
* Manage and grow revenue and market share to achieve Axon's strategic objectives
* Build business plans with focus partners and growth partners to drive Axon adoption
* Execute sales training and provide marketing support
* Develop and maintain client and partner relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
* Own account and partner relationship and drive overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* Able and willing to travel 50% + (2-3 days a week on the road)
* 10+ years working in sales and channel for a technology company (Software, SaaS, cloud, collaboration)
* Track record of sales and channel sales success
* Experience with executive level engagements and communication
* Experience with large VAR's and Systems Integrators
* Startup experience (preferred)

* Identifying target prospects based on market, firmographic and product signals
* Defining and improving on prospect messaging
* Work closely with Marketing, Sales Ops and other cross functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness
* Establish relationships with key stakeholders within Enterprise accounts
* Help build the foundation and processes for the Axon Enterprise Team

What You Bring

* 1+ years of outbound sales development or closing experience working with customers, ideally with a SaaS product
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment and helping improve business processes as we grow
* Ability to learn a SaaS product and effectively communicate Axon Enterprise's value to potential customers
* Self-starter who's eager to learn while being a core part of building our business from the ground up
* Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
* Experience with sales tools, such as com, OutReach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
