• May be required, through prior education and / or hands on experience have knowledge, aptitude and understanding one or more of the following depending on areas assigned:
• Production and processing concepts of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, and quality.
• Mechanics or mechanical aptitude of machines and tools, including their design and use; 2-3 years of prior process operator experience is ideal.
• Computers and processing equipment including ability to print labels and packaging control logs
• Able to drive a forklift and/or operate power lift.

JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:
The Seasoning Operator is responsible for seasoning product to required standards while maintaining a continuous flow of product to the packaging lines. Responsibilities include making minor adjustments to the machinery to achieve the correct product and seasoning flow, troubleshooting, maintenance of machinery, and record keeping.
Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safety Regulations consistently.Maintains seasoner with correct seasoning at appropriate levels. Identifies seasoning equipment problems and corrects problems.Assembles and disassembles seasoning line equipment correctly.Handles line clean-ups and changeovers.Performs chemical, Kosher, and allergen cleaning.Performs seasoner set-up duties.Completes documentation for monitoring the seasoning process.Performs minor adjustments and maintenance on all equipment.Retrieves correct and adequate supplies from the warehouse to sufficiently stock lines.Assists R&D in testing of new seasoning and conducting trials.Operates case erectors. Performs all sanitation of scales and drums.Calibrates load cells for accurate seasoning application. Ensures product is within QA specifications and makes adjustments if necessary.May perform seasoning checks on finished product. Performs verification on level sensors using calibration tools.Performs verification on no-seasoning laser sensor.Assists with scale calibration.Utilizes operator interface panels to perform seasoning drop tests, adjust seasoning settings and operate equipment. Performs troubleshooting and corrective actions for seasoning issues.Communicates with Packaging Lead and Quality Assurance regarding pertinent issues, other positions regarding training and information, with Maintenance concerning equipment problems, and with the warehouse concerning supplies.May perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.

PM COMBO OPERATOR JOB OVERVIEW:

Our Combo Machine Operator workers have a wide range of job responsibilities including set up and/or operation of any number of machines within the site. You will learn our operator role but must be open to filling in where needed.

PM COMBO OPERATOR DUTIES:

+ Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment while learning and operating various machinery throughout the site following proper procedures and safety protocols

+ Review batch ticket to assure understanding of the product to be manufactured

+ Enter raw materials in the sequence designated

PM COMBO OPERATOR REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

+ Basic computer skills

+ Basic understanding of electronic batching ticket (EBT)

+ Ability to operate computerized bulk distribution system

+ Must be able to lift 55+ lbs and stand on feet for long periods

PM COMBO OPERATOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in batch manufacturing

PM COMBO OPERATOR SHIFT:

+ Weekend Shift 3rd Shift

+ Friday, Saturday & Sunday

+ 5pm - 5am

PM COMBO OPERATOR PAY:

+ $24.15 + Shift Differential
