The patient population that the NP will provide care to includes children/adolescents with complex medical conditions and technology dependence and children/adolescents with the need for comprehensive rehabilitation after trauma or surgeries. The patient population also includes Pediatric Hospital Medicine patients that require hospitalization for illnesses/diseases including respiratory, GI, dermatologic, etc. The PNPs are part of the medical staff and take direct responsibility for the medical care of assigned patients.
