Work Schedule:
Morning Care is currently staffed, opportunities to sub morning shifts are available
Afternoon Care is available from 1:45 PM to 6:00 PM (days of the week & shift end times will vary)
Summer schedules are typically decided in April with opportunities to work additional hours in June through mid-August

Responsibilities in our Childcare Program:
Implement FrogStreet curriculum suitable for specific age groups of children
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.)
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe
Track childrens progress and report to parents
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the childrens background and psyche
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Qualifications:
Aide's must be at least 16 years of age to apply, and do not need any previous licensed care experience!

Observe and monitor children's play activities

Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games, songs and crafts
Assist in preparing and serving snacks for children
Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
Clean toys that have been played with; straighten and reset room after childcare session.
Maintain a safe and secure environment
Ensure that check-in and pick-up procedures are followed
Change diapers and assist in bathroom use (female providers only)
Report any concerns regarding a child's well-being immediately to the Berean Kids Director, Next Gen Pastor, or a Berean Kids staff member
Qualifications
