Principal Accountabilities:

Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the Parish and the Diocese.
Abides by the Confidentiality Policy outlined in the Diocese Employee Handbook
Guides educational/recreational activities appropriate to the age level of each child in the program.
Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the program.
Assists participants in the development of habits of caring for children's own clothing and picking up and putting away toys, books, and crafts.
Arrange medical attention for ill or injured participants per parental instructions and diocesan guidelines.
Ensures accurate attendance information is kept aiding in the proper billing of charges to parents.
Communicate with parents regarding the program.
Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits.
Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to the Parish, students, and staff.
Supervision Given and/or Received:
Moderate supervision given by Director, Business Manager and Pastor.
Internal Contacts:
Diocese Pastors, Priests, Principals, Business Managers, and employees.
External Contacts:
Parishioners, diocese vendors, local, state, and federal agency representatives, and auditors.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
Ability to accept work interruptions while still remaining focused on duties.
Required to work a shift or parts of a shift that begins at 7:30 am and end at 4:00 pm
Required to manage moderate levels of stress
Required to work in standard school conditions
Required to lift or carry supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment to a minimum of 35 pounds
Requires lifting and picking up toddlers.
Required to maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of emotion
Required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak daily
Required to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading
Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, activity, and inclement weather
Travel Requirements:
Infrequent travel, by car, may be required to Diocese Parishes and/or schools.
Education and Experience Preferred:
High School Diploma
CPR & Infant First Aid Certifications
2 years working for a licensed childcare facility
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church

Essential Functions
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing direct consumer care to assigned consumers within an urgent care setting. This position works under limited direction yet in coordination with an APP lead. Typical work scenarios require specialized knowledge, critical thinking, sound judgment based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences skills, as well as strong customer service skills. Internal contacts include medical staff and management throughout the clinic and health system. External contacts include consumers, physicians, outside medical staff, and community resource services.
Performs and provides treatments for minor acute illness, consumer examinations, making initial assessment, initiating treatment and referring to appropriate center of care when applicable.
Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
Instructs and counsels consumers by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
Develops and implements consumer management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. May be required to supervise ancillary staff.
Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions and refers consumers to specialist and to relevant consumer care options as appropriate.
Demonstrates good organizational skills in coordinating services with co-workers and other departments/services.
Responds to stressful situations in a calm, rational manner and cooperates with all to facilitate integration of services.
