Job Summary:
Maintains product levels and quality control in produce and floral departments. Ensures fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed in accordance with Company standards and all regulatory food safety practices. Promotes customer service and sales building practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains full stock conditions on produce and floral display racks, tables, and shelves.
Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
Collects empty cardboard boxes and other trash and places into bailer.
Assists fellow partners and customers by responding to price check questions and exchanging and/or locating product.
Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.
Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety. procedures. Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
Practices high sanitary standards for handling raw and uncooked food products.
Cleans, assembles, and prepares equipment for operation, and examines to check working order under supervision. (Partners must be 18+)
Takes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and work tools.
Uses sharp tools for opening boxes. Cuts and trims product to ensure high quality presentation and appearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate manual or electric pallet jack.
Ability to safely operate and maintain department equipment.
Ability to handle objects carefully to avoid damage to items, people, vehicles, and property.
Ability to safely work with sharp objects such as knives, box cutters, etc.

Back of House TeamMember Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
* Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
* Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
* Stock kitchen inventory as needed
* Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
* Complete all opening or closing tasks, as assigned
* Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
* Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
* Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times

ABOUT THE ROLE:
DEPARTMENT: 1st Shift Warehouse Operations
POSITION: Stocker
LOCATION: Port Allen, Louisiana
COMMITMENT: Full-Time - Monday - Friday
(5-day work week - Workdays are subject to change during holidays, inclement weather and/ or unforeseen special circumstances.
SCHEDULE: 5:00am - 3:00pm
(or until job is complete)
PAY RATE: Hourly
(starting at $15/hour)
PAY SCHEDULE: Bi-Weekly (through direct deposit)

SUMMARY SNAPSHOT: Stockers are responsible for assuring that products and inventory are accurately labeled, scanned, placed and rotated in the proper location manually and using standing forklift/electric pallet jack. This role is physically demanding and requires a capable ability to excel under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multi-temperature environment to increase efficiency, quality standards, and achieve profitable operations processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives and processes products and new inventory through unloading and verifying quantities and quality.
Accurately stocks products in proper locations using required scanner/handheld devices.
Ensure shelves are fully stocked with inventory to fulfill customer orders for next-day deliveries.
Restocks inventory and customer product returns.
Manages and maintains the storage conditions of goods received in the warehouse.
Ensure product integrity by examining and inspecting stock items and new inventory for wear, damage, and defects.
Report any damages and/or issues immediately to the supervisor. Completes the necessary damage inventory reports for defective products found while receiving, stocking and/or picking.
Performs at a level of 95% + to meet the required quotas and maintain efficient flow of operations.
Performs general housekeeping, cleanup duties throughout shift in compliance with all quality service standards, sanitation regulations and guidelines to always maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Operates equipment in compliance with company policies and best practices adhering to safety standards and regulations. Returns and charges all equipment in designated locations.
Functions as a teammember, open and willing to perform other duties assigned and needed.
Requirements
ABOUT YOU:
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years or older. Must have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen.
At least 2+ years of warehouse distribution experience using standup forklift and electric pallet jack
(single, double)
Solid mathematical and computer skills. Capable of learning and operating company handhelds.
DEPENDABLE: Must have reliable transportation and report to work on time with a good attendance history.
DRIVEN: Attendance is vital to this role, and each stocker is key to making the daily production goals get achieved.
PHYSICAL STAMINA & STRENGTH: Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time in an often-warm temperature warehouse environment. Able to reach, lift, stack and pull and replenish products weighing between 10-75 pounds off/on multi-level rack system repeatedly throughout the shift.
FLEXIBLE: Must be willing to work in all areas of the warehouse, as assigned.
